Mash Allah this is a great video and a great reminder. May Allah bless those who have done it. The prophet sas said THE DEEN IS ADVICE so please take a bit of advice. If we do something we should do it with Ihsan, and as our brother gave some of the best advice that there is and following THE QURAN AND THE SUNNAH so the film should have no mistake in it. It is simply the employment of a medium that reaches to younger generations with the hope that they view this and strive to acheive this frame of mind, yes it may be idealistic but nothing wrong with that..same way allah swt expects us to follow all teachings of the perfected koran even though realistically that has not been attained we must always strive to acheive this level of perfection, just because it does not fit OUR criteria of a "realistic muslim" we do not argue or deny it.

I think a few things need to be clarrified bcha760..this is short film, an 8 minute snapshot of an "ideal" muslim whos motivations and actions are guided by the teachings of the koran and hadith, it is not an intense 3 hour blocklbuster that thoroughly addresses and tackles all social and personal issues muslims are being faced with and ways to overcome it - of course not that these things should be ignored, but im sure there are many resources for this.

Also, this paints a very unrealistic picture of social relationships in the lebanese and muslim community at large. It is very idealistic and unfortunately does not parallel the real workings of street mentality. Being raised in these communities, i can speak first hand that this angle does not represent the issues delinquent muslims are challeneged with.

yeh i see ur point but the brief of this short film was not to represent the issues that muslims are facung, it was to portray the force or the 'impetus' behind why muslims do what they do. i think it clearcly fulfills the brief in that wai. this video was actually made to be showcased at a non-muslim dinner during Austrlian Dawah Week n the point of it is to break down misconceptions that nonmuslims hav n present them wiv a relative idea of wat a muslim is supposed to be

Way too much overacting. I feel the message is being pushed down the throats of the viewer rather than allowing the viewer to warmly embrace it. Also, noone acts like that. It is very unrealistic and very difficult for people to empathise with. Overall, the people had good intentions but bad planning.
