There is a faster way to get load of DP.

What you need is a patriot ( password: pkhhnwhsjt ) or an anti-tank launcher with a lot of ammo/having a bandana equipped.

After you fight Screaming Mantis, go down the aisle, you come across an endless army of scarabs, equip the Patriot or anti-tank launcher/bandana and start shooting. This way you get two sets of DP; one set for destroying the scarabs and another set for picking up their guns. I got bored after picking up at least 6,000,000 DP.

You don't have to have Stealth, Haven Cam (99% camo while standing still) works just as good, just stay still and let them run into you, then Snake will say "Hands up" or whatever.

@evoterry Unlock the special bullets for the Mk.3 or Mosin Nagant by beating the game, then use the "Rage" bullets you unlocked, shoot an enemy with it, and they'll kill each other. It's pretty fun to watch.

Easiest way is to make a save right before the scene where Snake finds JD (the one before he walks through the microwave hallways). Finish the game and make another save, and then the "extras" menu will be unlocked. When it is unlocked, enter the code to unlock the Patriot gun (that has infinite ammo). When you unlock it, go back to your save right before the microwave room and equip the patriot, place rubber bands on your LT and RT buttons and leave the control on over night to shoot the geckos

If you don't have the Bandanna or Stealth just go to extras in the main menu and download the Haven Camo...it gives you 99% stealth if you stand still which kind of solves the problem =) Happy gaming..

The funniest thing is. The only reason why you want to collect that much drebin points is to buy bandana and stealth. Sure it's possible without stealth but awkward as shit. So does that method makes sense? My tip, play through the game one time, go to extras and punch in the code for the patriot (unlimited ammo weapon), play to until you come to the end location (where you walk through 10 hallways) lie down and frag those camera-bots, they spawn infinite. Rubberband on pad + fap = win

@jk7975 Snake doesn't have a team. He only aids the resistance (if he wants) so he can sneak past easier to get to Naomi. And yes, you can get their drops and just stun them. Only problem is, they won't respawn until they die, so if you want to keep the dp coming, you do have to kill them after holding them up.

Its faster to beat the game without getting spotted for stealth camo. Just make sure to save often and in different spots. Take it steady and make sure that the chicks that attack with laughing octopus don't spot you because those count as spotted. All other bosses you can fight freely and the vehicle scenes dont count. Make sure not to see alert ever if you do you have to reload your game.

you dont have to hold them up if you shoot them with cry emotion bulets they drop the guns and you get the full 12,000x1.00x1.00 but you have to kill them when you pick the gun up for more to apear

I tried using "Cry" bullets jsut like what TryNotToCry said then shot the PMC down with a Patriot instead of holding them up.

just google search "mgs 4 saved data" and then download the saved data from the web, after that just upload the data and then there will be a couple million drebin points depending which data you download.

after you are on top of drebin's mig the part where you are in the city trying to get to the helicopter go to the end of the street equip the rail gun and kill the gecko. gecko keep coming from over the buildings and will line up to where you can kill 2 gecko with 1 shot if u let the gun charge up all the way. idk if thats faster but i made quite a bit of dp off of it. and the good thing about it is u can stay in 1 spot and there's no having to move to collect any guns.
