Male hippos mean business when they fight. Because their tusks are so sharp and huge, they puncture very deep and cause massive blood loss. It would be interesting to see a serious beach master going against Gustave, the giant Nile croc.

Gustave is a bunch of nonsense. They have never even seen this 'super' croc. All they have is one local guy saying it maybe killed a hippo. There is no way any croc could match up against an adult hippo.

Hippo's are one of the most ferocious animals in the whole world and this ferociousness is multiplied many times over if calves are present.

They kill more humans than any other animal in Africa. They are fiercely territorial and will attack anything, even boats.
