  • when does this play in the movie?

  • @BINGFRYSRDUN It's in a deleted scene where Constanze goes back to Salieri after showing him the scores presumably for sexual favours, undresses but he orders her out before she finishes ... then afterwards she's in bed crying about that and Mozart comes home and finds her

  • Danke, habe Link gesetzt

  • I've finished the 39 clues series, and it was awesome :3

  • perfect books!!!

  • ahhh, so perfect... this is my new study jam :)

  • lol it's funny how everybody's talking about the 39 clues here :P

(i just finished the second book and it was AWESOME!! :P)

  • thumbs up for anyone viewing this because of the 39 clues

  • It was on the movie (the director's cut version) - just a few bars from the very beginning - as well as on the CD. This Adagio is just the first part of a longer work in two movements : Adagio and Rondo K.617. Thomas Bloch has also recorded it at the right tempo and extensively on Naxos. You'll find a video with the end of this Rondo on Youtube in using those keywords : Thomas Bloch Mozart Rondo K.617

  • @theondes Thanks for the info!

  • the only one allowed to criticize Mozart is Mozart himself

  • @kadpw7 Bravo!

  • when was this played in the movie?

  • How can people not like Mozart, he was a genius of his time and he remains a witty, passionate and methodical pioneer

  • the glass armonica was invented by benjamin franklin

  • anyone else is Ekaterina?

  • This Adagio is not played by Academy of St. Martin in the Fields as written in the presentation but by Thomas Bloch (glass harmonica) and the Brussels Virtuosi (conducted by flustist Marc Grauwels). It was recorded especially for the 2001 version (the director's cut). The tempo is slower than requested by Mozart but it was asked this way to synchronize with the movie.

  • @theondes Was this in the movie? Or special features? Or neither...just on the CD?

  • Yes. But I just played mission 10 and usually as a first impression I introduce myself as a Madrigal. I used to be an honorary one, since I was leaking Lucian secrets to them. Now I'm official.

  • @swordebrithil12 i presume that u r a lucian?

  • @lucianm739 Lucian/Madrigal

  • normally I'm not a Mozart fan but i love this, the armonica made this piece. such an underrated, underused and beautiful instrument.

  • @Drmofothegreat

People who aren't normally a Mozart fan aren't normal.
