vincent died on the first plane crash...he was in a kennel in the storage area of the plane...then jacob's opposite character(the black smoke/the man who whats to kill jacob) took the form of dead vincent....vincent always leads people to bad things...

i think Yemi is the smoke monster. because when charlie and eko is on their way to the plane, the smoke monster comes and when it stairring at eko, you can see short pictures inside the smokemonster that looks like pictures from ekos past.

its obvious he's the smoke monster, but only on the island. Rember in cost of living, his body goes missing, well obviously the minster took ti and took the shape of it. If you notice when eko follows yemi through the woods and grass how yemi's body is dirty, its the corpse reanimated by the monster to lure eko to his death. I think the same thing is happening with jack's dad as he was taken from the coffin

yes, the island is (as everybody knows) very special, but it appears that the smoke monster can take the shape of something that its enemy is very afraid of or something, i think it is like rousseaou said : a securety system, because in the episode "Cabin Fever" in season 4, ben like calls the smoke monster to kill martin keamy and his men at the barracks, so a security system is my suggestion.

It has manifested itself as Ecko's brother, Kate's horse, Vincent (probably), and even possibly Walt. Why not Christian? Those shoes are white as white, son--hard to keep that shit clean in the forest. Also, it'd make more sense if he was a warrant of the island--he seems able to travel great distances, know to some degree where people are, and, like, speak to dogs. He's got to be the Island.

We know that Jack identified a body in Australia that was supposedly his father's. So you're right, thonny, we don't know whether he's really died or not, but wouldn't a better answer be that the Island decided to use his form for its own purposes?

no dude....he(christian) was in a coffin and Jack saw the coffin a few days after the crash...he was not there...he lived again

how do u know he was in the coffin? we never saw him die, we never saw him in a coffin. all we know is that he disappeared in australia. we did not see him die, so how do you know he is dead? and even if ur theory was right and he lived again, in the episode, jack clearly forced the coffin open, it was sealed. how do u explain he lived again but didnt go out of the coffin? by some magical power he apeared in front of the coffin? he simply disapeared in australia, probably for a job with jacob.

right, i didnt see that.sorry, but anyway how do we know its not a flash foward when he gets off the island? my point is, we didnt see him die, so we cant actually say he died, just like lock. how can they find his body if he doesnt want to leave the island, the others dont want him to leave and if the island himself dont want him to leave? maybe when u comit urself to the island, yourself in the real world dies? that would explain lock's death and him still being alive on the island

since the Oceanic 6 leave the islan until Locke dies, it's a long time... kate and jack they live together, but then they broke up because jack's getting crazy......When Ben is on the desert, it's October 2005(or november), so, it has passed a long time...and then, we watch jack and kate together, Jack all messy, all "unshaved" and it seems that they don't see each other for like 6 months or something

maybe Locke and the other were found and were all rescued and Locke died off the island

but i dont think they got rescued or found. remembers all the people on flight 815 besides lock sawyer, claire and the oceanic 6 are probably dead since the boat exploded. now on the island there is only lock sawyer juliet and the others(im not sure if dan, miles and charlotte are on the island or they died on the boat) one thing is sure, now only the others are on the island, juliet will probably join them, she cant live alone with sawyer.

Well from the limited knowledge I have, the producers made a bunch on these mini episodes that only last about 5 mins. They reveal a bunch more stuff behind the Island and other mysteries (like there is one that shows Walt using his "powers").
