  • well, you've got us there vollumas. I looked at your videos, and if anyone would know boring it's clearly you.

  • @HauserWorks rofl

  • I think it was a conspiracy to snuff out the bong shop.

  • noooooo the bong shop ):

  • thts sad apperantly its one of the oldest buildings **Jessica**

  • You can actually see the SIN being cleansed out of that building.

  • that is some incredible footage. it's too bad about the fire, but damn that's amazing footage.

  • i was sitting near the fountain with a black guy watching this.

  • Yo I remeber seeing this. walking down the street.. I was like, wtf?!

  • I have lived in Guelph almost my whole life and I always note that when there is a fire in Guelph it almost like it was a target. Like when someone set fire to the old mill and it was burnt so bad it had to be removed... SO we could build a 21 million dollar art center.... for some reason. Like the hotel years back, they did your parents hang out there when they were younger?, They always talked about having a good time there right? Hey keep note of the banks : churches ratio uptown Guelph.

  • FIRE IN A SNOWSTORM or wht?

  • Christ, I was in the pottery shop when that happened

  • yo that fucking thing took down the bong shop :(

  • i live in guelph

  • @Pucker7 Poor Bastard! : (

    ..but is it really 'Living'?

  • @Fongolitus NO!

  • wow dan, wow! amazing...

  • but downtown guelph fire department isnt that like the practice building were u practive in it ? or is it a diff one

  • oh that was very real - in a formerly charming and historical building

  • ahh ur right

  • Different

  • R.I.P Twisted asylum...... they had wicked bongs :D

  • Is this the building by the GSEC???

  • ..yet another 'insurance job'

  • I assume you mean someone lit the fire to collect insurance. Actually, the fire was arson but not by anyone who owned anything there. Some kid turned himself in, he was drinking and the story has it that he was kicked out of a party and not happy about it, so he lit phone books on fire and it got out of hand. There were actually many businesses affected for the worse, and artists who lost their work, some of it already sold. Sadly, they did NOT have insurance.

  • OH MAN, the bakery is gone :(

that was the best place ever !

  • i think the bakery opened up again or it relocated somewhere in guelph

  • yes, the bakery re-opened on Yarmouth street across from the Woolwich Arms.

  • Ps. Pop that collah brother. Much love.

  • someone was just charged with arson.

    too bad

  • the firemen couldn't use the firetruck with the biggest ladder we have because it was broken for months already before the mayor spent another $5000 or something to a task force for drug use on the street, rather then giving the fire dept. what they needed.

  • there goes my favourite head shop:(

  • when did this happen? i went to guelph in late august-early september in 2006 and came back last week and i didn't notice much of a difference.

  • during easter weekend 2007, there's still guard fence around the front and the windows are still boarded up

  • oh,i might've saw it but i can't really remember.

  • i saw it to i live in guelph

  • I used to take piano lesssons there.

  • Not the Twisted Asylum!!

  • I remember getting the City Bus home that night and seeing it happen

  • I can't believe that happened. I loved that bakery...such a tragedy.

  • wow thats some crazy shit right there, i didnt hear about it till liek 3 days after at school :P

  • You have some good stuff here. I remember watching this when I got home off the VIA train from London. I was shocked to say the least, and it was Easter too.
