All he needed was motherfucking fast drums, fast distorted riffs and fast bass lines in the background. Then he could easily shred the fuck out of that shitty place. But no, he wanted to satisfy the critics who despise shredding. That's where he failed.

@falco1407 Yeah not a tasteful solo at all. Just doesn't sound good. I hate when people over-compensate with playing fast. I'd pick Neil Schon's playing over his playing any day. Sorry Rusty, you can shred like no other but, it doesn't mean anything if there is no soul.

You can see the bridge pickup is slightly angled, does that do anything major to the sound?

@metalrules2791 a warmer sound to the lower strings (B E A D) and a sharper tone to the higher strings (G B E). It's a small thing that makes the tone a lot better, and it makes the guitar more versatile sounding...

@metalrules2791 dont know about the bridge pickup; don't think its angled at all. But the neck pu is; it has to be because the lower cutaway is so deep! We possibly might hear a VERY SLIGHT difference, but not enough to make a difference.
