@Sn0ww1 the germans were 80 miles away from moscow on june 6 1944. the Tula arsenal was captured so the Russians were only producing half the weapons they needed. if it wasnt for the Normandy invasion russia would of fell in less than a month. but now that germany had to divert troops away from the eastern front it gave the russians the breathing room to mount a counter attack

Plus, the US had much better equipment than the USSR

For that from 1939-1945, Allied force killed some 130k Axis troops in exchange for over 100k dead.
During the war, Soviet killed some 5 mil in exchange for 8.

It's still an ak47 it's called an amd 65 but it's issued to hungarian tank crews as a last resort weapon if they have to leave the tank and fight. Thats why they were issued with wire folders, 14inch barrels and 20rd mags so they could manuvior the weapon easily inside the tank. 20rd mags also made it easier to load with the front grip so close. Thats why the guys magizine fell he had trouble loading that 30rd mag.

@jack070991 lol bio diesel in 1940?...well i guess late is better than never. the model T was originally designed to run on bio diesel...in 1903...Bismark was sunk by "inferior" ships the k98 was a five round bolt action rifle. at least the Enfield had 10 rounds. and the garand had 8 rounds AND was semi automatic. as far as the G6 is concerned it was coppied from the FN FAL and THAT was a direct copy of the American BAR. sorry buddy but only America makes good firearms accept it.

Let me give you an example battle of the bulge or particulary kursk, where tigers met t-34, but it was 1 vs 5 in numbers so1 shell against 5 shells, one bullet against 5, 1 bomb against 5.... @Sn0ww1 the germans were 80 miles away from moscow on june 6 1944. the Tula arsenal was captured so the Russians were only producing half the weapons they needed. if it wasnt for the Normandy invasion russia would of fell in less than a month. but now that germany had to divert troops away from the eastern front it gave the russians the breathing room to mount a counter attack

Well, Germans did got within 20 miles of the Kremlin back in 1941, part of Operation Barbarossa (which lasted 6 months, way longer than the one month you said). Even though only half-an hour drive away, most Panzer division commanders had less than 20 tanks operational by then, and the attack faltered. Russian counter attack pushed Germans away.

@amyhuk Battle of Kursk in 1943 was the final offensive campaign that Germany mounted against the Soviet. The attack was broken and Soviet counter offensive began shortly. Then until the end of the war, the Soviet was on the offensive and Germany was on the defense and retreat.
After 1941, Soviet leaders dispersed their industrial capacity and prepared all the way to the Urals.

@amyhuk That's because 90% of the Wehrmacht and the SS were fighting on the eastern front. While the western front was defended by kids,old people, romanians, bulgarians, and others (Ost Division). No wonder why the US lost so little soldiers, they were fighting untrained and poorly armed soldiers with no will to fight, while the soviets on the other hand, fought the most battle hardened SS divisions and Wehrmacht armies there were. Plus, the US had much better equipment than the USSR

Russia lost more men bcz all of Germany was onto it...If Hitler respected the non-agression treaty with Stalin, his Armies would conquer England, Africa and later America itself. Not to mention the tech he would have time to develop (Horton bombers, V2,3,4..10 rockets, Nuclear Bombs etc) The US survived bcz Hitler attacked USSR

@amyhuk US soldiers were mere children compared to the real German soldiers and tech on the eastern front.. If they were unleashed upon the west, we'd all be speaking German by now. So we all got the USSR to thank for saving our place in the future. So if not more,you should respect the Soviet soldiers at least as much as any Allied ones

@amyhuk The comparison has no meaning unless you account for how many Axis soldiers are killed in exchange for the casualties. Killing 10 when losing 10 is not the same as killing 40 losing 10. It says how much you were opposing and correct for replacements of dead troops
For that from 1939-1945, Allied force killed some 130k Axis troops in exchange for over 100k dead.
During the war, Soviet killed some 5 mil in exchange for 8.

@amyhuk The exchange rate isn't good overall for the USSR but consider this: 1) US had less alive troops than dead USSR. 2) the poor exchange rate was compounded by poor initial performance but by war's end USSR possessed the most powerful land force all round.
During the Cold War, Warsaw Pact force outnumbered NATO force 3 to 1 overall and nearly 10 to 1 in case of actual attack in points of penetration. It was a real fear that Soviet conventional force will roll over Europe back then.

Soviet answer was if NATO force use nukes on Soviet army, Soviet would use nukes on Europe cities.
NATO answer was to have US nuke Soviet cities.
In the end, the Cold War was balanced by a weak conventional NATO force, threat of nuclear use on Soviet armies, European, Soviet and American cities. And Cold War didn't go hot; except in patron states.

It's still an ak47 it's called an amd 65 but it's issued to hungarian tank crews as a last resort weapon if they have to leave the tank and fight. Thats why they were issued with wire folders, 14inch barrels and 20rd mags so they could manuvior the weapon easily inside the tank. 20rd mags also made it easier to load with the front grip so close. Thats why the guys magizine fell he had trouble loading that 30rd mag.
