  • is actually playing in F on Eb tuning or he's just on standard for once?...

  • Guitar Hurricane? Screw that, SRV was a Guitar Supernova.

  • Just saw a videoof Buddy guy saying shut the F up about SRV if it weren't for Stevie Buddy and the rest of them would have been forgotten long ago. Stevie brought BLUES to every home!! not these guys.

  • SRV...bigger than Katrina and Irene

  • @nirvanium29 Put together, with bacon, and set on fire.

  • He always talked about the movement in texas. Like how a horse sounds gallopping or a train cruising by. He is the man

  • I think the official web site of Stevie is where I go that info and I got that there you call him who ever ya want and try to live as if ya knew him if ya want you may be right whats the point lol the world knows him also and as STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN!!!!!! Read his Biography but what ever yo its all good..........................

  • @MrBallsoplenty just goofing around. Go Texas ,what a great player

  • Born and raised in Dallas, Vaughan began playing guitar at age 7, inspired by older brother Jimmie. By age 12 he was playing in garage bands, and within a few years he joined semi-professional bands that occasionally landed gigs in local nightclubs. At 17 he dropped out of high school to concentrate on playing music. In 1970 Stevie was playing in a nine-piece horn band and then formed his first blues band, Blackbird, a year later.

  • @MrBallsoplenty I think you are mixing him up with That famous Texan , Woody Allen

Easy mistake to make. Stevies real name is Tariq Ibrahim and he went to the same mosque as my neighbour ,Muhammed ,in Wales.

  • @HoleHeadedLiar NUFF SAID

  • fuck sounds like. IT IS HIDEAWAY!! with lyrics. SWEET lol

  • holy shit sounds exactly like hideaway almost to a T xD same shuffle beat anyways. way to go stevie, make it your own!!! :D

  • merci

  • I heard Eric Clapton do this song, no comparison, no disrespect Eric.

  • music to my ears<3

  • this is a Guitar Slim cover, but the title is Guitar Slim

  • He was one of the best musicians ever to come from Wales. We are very proud of him in Llandridnod Wells.

  • @ilikezappa Uhhm. Stevie Ray Vaughan was from just outside of Austin Texas.

  • @HoleHeadedLiar No he just told people that. He loved Texas and always wanted to move there one day. My dad used to attend the same mosque in Wales as Stevie Ray (or Yusuf, as we used to call him by his real name)

  • @ilikezappa I would think that someone from Wales would have a better sense of humour than you do.

Look, asshole: The US hasn't got much to be proud of, let alone much from Texas to be proud of, and Stevie Ray Vaughan is one of those few precious things: get your goddamn facts straight, and shut your useless goddamn mouth.

  • @HoleHeadedLiar Are you kidding? America has a ton of things she should be proud of.

I suggest you take a trip to Normandy and have a look at the cemetery if you doubt it.

I would even give you a ride in my 69 Impala ,if you weren`t such a potty mouth.

  • @ilikezappa @HoleHeadedLiar Who gives a fuck. Stevie Ray wasnt from Texas and everybody knows that. Lately we dont have much to be proud of in complete honesty. And who gives a fuck. Just dig the tunes man.

  • @ilikezappa Stevie Ray Vaughan was born in Dallas, Texas on Oct. 3rd 1954. He was raised and went to school in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas as did I. My cousin has a high school yearbook, which he signed, with pictures of him and his band in it.I don't where you got that he was from Wales, but you are definitely wrong about that.

  • @HoleHeadedLiar West Dallas I believe.

    TD

  • @The1200Dude Whoops! I stand corrected, then.

I knew he bought number one from just outside of Austin, at Ray Hennig's Heart of Texas Music. It did belong to Christopher Cross, before Vaughan bought it, as I understand.

  • @HoleHeadedLiar Christopher Cross?????? From one extreme to the other eh? LOL

If you google a book about SRV called Caught In The Crossfire, it's an excellant read, would recommend that you get a copy if ur are an SRV sorta dude.

    TD

  • Yes, they sure do.

  • Well he is the greatest Hurricane!!

  • XLNT!!!!

  • seen him in texas, didnt know who he was but he fuc$ing blew the top off of that place, when i got back to bama, bought everything i could find-god bless u srv,we love ya and miss ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hell to the yeah!!!! Thats the Stevie that we all knew and loved right there! God I miss his magic!

  • i absolutely love SRV, but for some reason i have never heard this song. what a hidden gem :)

  • @xSkippydx from a early recording "in the begging" when srv was know as stevie vaughan...a hound dog taylor type dedication...bust out for some hound dog

  • ADORE this tune, this man, and Texas blues!!! Thanks so much for the post!!!!

  • tienen la guitarra en E jaja :P yo decia q onda ??? porq la toca en el primer traste ¬¬ ahha

  • I think the one of the highest compliments I've heard about Mr. Stevie Ray Vaughan was his ability to stay in the theme of the song. All the while everyone knowing that he could just break off some insane run and he stays in his shoes! That's amazing!

  • ALADDIN GEE--Is in the building thumbs up for this video please sub

  • Killer! Love you Hurricane!
