Hi April,

Thanks for writing. Actually, it has been over 13 years since I started Avonex. One thing has been constant. The side effects of the shot are still unpredictable. Each day after shot day is ALWAYS different. Sometimes the fever, chills, headache, etc. are really bad and other times I don't feel that much. Also, there are times that I don't feel much until about 2:00 p.m. the next day. It is weird and it still makes no sense to me. I hope that you are doing well.

Right into the Muscle, I know ! Hi Taz have a look at the site for Lauren = laurenvparrott (replace your name with her name in your youtube address, and paste into your browser). She has just started Tysabri, which is the modern approach. Vastly superior to Avonex, and just a monthly infusion. Good Luck to you.
