  • Kreisler... Instant tears from me...:)

  • judios ajjjjj

  • is it my ears or is Gregorowicz version out of tune?

  • @spikedardens he's not so out of tune, just some not natural notes some times...

  • Whilst all three are superb,i prefer Prihoda's tone production and dynamics.Great post though, thanks for sharing :)

  • Kreisler's constant nervous vibrato seems quite out of place here. Hard to believe it caught on! I love Gregorowicz' unpretensions playing with little vibrato en sensitive use of glissando.

  • Thanks to everybody to compare this three violonists, I promised to give you my opinion: she's similar than all of you, I think it's Kreisler the best.

    Thanks again!

  • I think out of the three, Kreisler is the best. His revolutionary vibrato really presents itself here, and he has his inimitable rhythm.

Elman's tone is still great at times, but he sounds tense (Heifetz-disease, haha) and he's so slow it really drags to an end.

Gregorowicz is better than Elman musically-speaking, but his hands sound alittle weak, in any case his intonation is not secure.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • The Mischa Elman version was recorded in 1929.

  • Thanks again for your knowledge, I change it right know

  • kreisler

  • Igor, Je vous écrite à votre Inbox mes impressions. Merci pour cet opportunité - it was really fun to compare them:) !!

  • Thanks.

  • What is your favorite among this three violonists? I have my opinion that I don't give you for the moment.
