What a brilliant piece of commentary. I used this speech as a primary source in a paper I wrote on the Military Commissions Act of 2006 for my International Human Rights class. Olbermann really does nail his points, and the evidence he cites is, as he would say, inescapable. Bush and company like to tell us that we should let history judge the actions his administration has taken, but what good is historic perspective when, even now, its obvious lessons aren't being heeded?
