Cool - I've always wanted to do something like this. Let's see 100 km per hour times 100 (I think you meant x 10000%) - Wow! over 10000 km per hour! More than Mach 10 ...
Because, this is the way you are SUPPOSE to drive! SAFELY!! NOT stupidly!! What would happen if the veihcle in front of that veihcle that you passed first would have stopped suddenly...or sped up? What would happen if there were other cars coming from the other direction that you could not have seen?? It IS the law to drive safely.....but, you are right about one thing....I AM WASTING my TIME telling you this, because you must be one of those "cocky" drivers. LIVE LONG...maybe.
@Ashenion22 haha this guys just rattled. you must be one of those people that has veteran on your license plate. the only way to drive and not get into accidents is to be an offensive driver. fuck you buddy, go get rear ended for driving to slow. spick.
First of all you should have passed through regina via trans canada route; because we can go under 7 hours by that way. Secondly it sucks living in Saskatchewan and Manitoba due to its flatness :'(
@Ashenion22 It's true I'm a Saskatchewanian, or Fransaskois, and all you see is fields & the occasional eyesore. I'm not complaining I'm just pointing out the dullness of Saskatchewan.
Thanks! I captured the whole trip. I ran my camera into my computer via firewire and then into an external solid state drive via USB. Recorded a full eight hours into one 250 gig hard drive. No cuts, put in into Avid and sped in up X 10000.
Actually the prairies have to be the most boring place to drive in the whole world....its nothing i mean NOTHING to see while on the road. Im going to Edmonton soon then i will drive on these god forsaken roads again :S FUCK!!
It would have been more tolerable with better music than the Offspring. Put some real punk rock on there, like Strike Anywhere, Propagandhi, SNFU, Dead To Me, Youth Brigade or something.
Well put. I don't know that any of those bands do (i'm sure I could find something from SNFU, they sing about everything).
I just wanted to get my point across that I think The Offspring were never really punk and that they used punk rock as a stepping stone into their beloved mainstream career, as it was cool to like punk rock at that time.
Trust me, I'd love to not have to read some of the comments on this page, but if you'd noticed, it's MY page, so I get emails everytime someone comments, soooo I really don't have a choice do I.
Ahhh Albertans, becoming more and more like the Americans everyday, uncivilized, uneducated, foul mouthed, short tempered morons. Even your economy is the worst in the country, just like the Americans in the first world.
So I went to Winnipeg not too long ago, and let me tell you Saskatonians, never complain our roads again. I didn't like Winnipeg as soon as I got there. I have my own video "Trip Back To Saskatoon" it's a little different of course, and the song is "Hard Road" by Sam Roberts.
What town is that at 2:11? do you know? lol tough question I know. I live in regina and driving through the prairies is THE most boring road trip ever. Although! I did manage to get my 2000 neon to reach 190 before it dropped back to 140...that was badass:P (KM)
haha cool video..you know no matter how long and flat driving the prairies is...theres something really Canadian about it.....ps im not a big offspring fan but it does suit the vid
Best question yet. I've always looked at this particular Offspring song as an agressive driving song especially cuz of the lyrics, where as the White Stipes do have fast songs but nothing that matches lyrically.
well it was more like about 26-28 hours, only stopped for gas and to grab munchies at the gas station, longest stop was for the breakfast buffet at the flying j in calgary.
I did Winnipeg to Vancouver last summer on video, just haven't got around to uploading it. Took us 22 hours right to the ocean, we split it up into two days, Winnipeg to Calgary, then Calgary to Vancouver.
On the way back we drove straight through with a Queens of the Stoneage concert break in saskatoon.
i saw a southpark episode once and they were in canada and during the episode they sang a song that they were "following the only road, we're following the only road..." lol
