  • moreira telmo- future carlos acosta? :)

  • Her shoes seem a bit dead... or maybe she just isn't getting over her box? I don't know.

  • coppeli , coppeli ,coppelia .... wow *_* sono brave ma .... cambiate repertorio .. esiste la variazione di aspicia è bellissma !!!

  • what is the variation of the second boy??

  • @heidilovekimi Sleeping Beauty

  • What does the announcer say after the girl with the undone ribbon runs offstage?

  • ohhh that sucks her ribbon came untied!! but she was excellent at the bayadere variation! great cabrioles

  • @LiveAndBreatheBallet She won the prix anyways, love her contem piece!! She's like a younger guillem!

  • poor girl... her ribbons weren't probably tied... I feel sorry for her.

  • But she was win~^V^

  • I am thinking that japanese participants have an obsession for coppelia.

  • haha true ! English participants obviously are obsessed with La Bayadère though :p

  • Japanese girls are very cute. :*

    Coppelia fit them very well.

    Sorry for my bad english.

  • @ballettina so right xD but they dance it so well !!!

  • This variation from le corsaire always gives male dancers a chance to shine but this one was really speacial imo. Did he even win anything?

  • watch the finals presentation

  • her dancing is too sharp, which makes it look somewhat clean, but i think it also makes it look flappy

  • dit kan ik alleen in mijn dromen helaas

  • Sebastian Concha from Chili is AMAZING he dances with his soul I love him, besides he is so cute an handsome, he is going to be a star, Nijiski wonderful, he deserved the prize best perfomance.

  • man! iwouldn't have been able to keep my cool if my ribbon came off during a performance on that scale! great job hannah!

  • i like the 2nd boy....uhuuu

  • Telmo Moreira is the best there, and the most professional 200% "classic".

I had the privilege to see him dance 'live'in our country of origin.

  • hannah's performance was so good i didn't even notice that her ribbon came undone

when she ran off i was like "what?? thats it??"

  • Ese niño de Chile es precioso!!!

  • Hannah was superb. She is beautiful and such strong dancer. Accidents happen to everyone and she made the best out of that situation. She was stunning.

  • i absolutely loved Moreira Telmo

he is amazing! expression ,movement jumps ,turns everything!

  • so many from coppelia!

  • That Hannah girl's got class!

  • I love Hannah and Miki:)

  • What ballet is the white tutu girl from? - the 1 who's ribbons came undone

    xxx

  • it´s from La Bayadere, scene "Kingdom of shades"

  • La Bayedere

  • Sebantian Concha!!! te la mandaste man!!!!

    de lujo de lujo!!!

  • hannah is the best you know she is shutup

  • jealous huh. sad sad little person. I suspect I know who you are and that makes it even more sad. When 9 of the worlds international company and school directors pick a winner, it cant be a fluke.

  • is this matt??

  • Well nine of the top figures in international ballet (the Prix jury) disagree with you, eatingcow. And from what I've heard it was a decisive, unanimous victory. And Hannah also won the top award at the NBA competition in Japan. Her variation from that looked absolutely lovely as well. I've seen the same thing happen to more than one professional ballerina re: the ribbon, btw.

  • I'm not an expert in ballet, I just love to watch it- I'm really glad that Hannah won! But could someone tell me why she was better/ how she stood out? I know she's phonomenal but how?

  • As with all arts, this is of course subjective, but based on what I see, Hannah has exceptional musicality and maturity in her presentation. Also remember that the candidates are judged based on their performance in class and rehearsal; the judges take into account a candidate's ability to take correction, etc. So it may not all be apparent just from watching these short variations here.

  • Nossa não sabia q a bailarina podia retornar ao pauco depois de soltar a fita da sapatilha no começo da apresentação e ela ter arrumado na cochia. Q susto ela parece ter tomado!!!

  • that guys jumps are unbelievable. I guess that's what earned him the two prizes

  • Hannah had a really beautiful prestation!

  • where is the name of the opera 2:02?

  • SHE IS AMAZING!!

  • hannah handeled the ribbon situation well. What an annoying thing to occur.

  • go hannah amazing ily!

  • well fifisagirl...arn't you a nasty little peice. Any professional will tell you that shoe and wardrobe mishaps happen all the time. Hannah handled it so beautifully. 9 judges from around the worlds most prestigious ballet companies and schools chose her as the winner...I guess they know a bit more than you. By the way she is very very popular at her ballet school as she is a very humble and friendly girl. What a shame you are so awful.

  • To fifisagirl What an awful thing to say. You dont deserve to be given the privilege of watching this beautiful student. You obviously arn't too bright. The finals are the culmination of the judges watching the students over many days. The end result is not based soley on that performance, but it was still a brilliant performance even with the shoe mishap.....and her contemp was devine. Well done young Hannah!!!!!

  • telmo is really good!! i loved it

  • that guy from Portugal is supppppeeerrrr good

  • also Hannah is the winner of NBA in japan ,because her mother is japanese.

  • Bravooo Telmo Moreira... Best Regards from Portugal... you have a beautiful "touché" and great and very clean technique. The most important it´s not the acrobatic thinks but the way you do...

    Congratulations!

  • Hannah was superb, but Sebastian Concha!!! I think I have a little crush on him, his classical was brilliant but his Nijinsky was AMAZING. He really deserved to be a prize winner.

  • Well done Hannah from NZ... you kept going like a pro! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. And congratulations for winning!!!

  • who won??

  • hannah o'neill from nz

  • poor hannah from NZ...she danced beautifully!! to come back from a little ribbon incident like she did so confidently and to dance so well,i would have been in tears and all frazelled.

  • oh no!!! What a pity for the very lovely Bayadere dancer from New Zealand...but also good example of why the ribbon knot should always ( except ofcourse for quick costume changes which include shoes) be sewn in prior to performance.

  • Yay Hannah!! You handled the ribbon situation with your normal self assuredness. Well done for winning overall !!!! You were phenomonal
