  • After the war running started again on KMR for a further two years .J Jeffries took a new wife, and that marked the end. One more loco after 3601 was built. It is in the Lake district,n need of overhaul.

  • this ngine first ran on Kenton Miniture Railway, near Harrow late 1939 just before the war. it ran till 1942, when local residents complained about it using coal which was on ration.Engine built for Joseph Jeffries,

  • verry nice Train and Video!

  • I have a question, i own a lot of land, and im wondering, where can i buy one of these, or do i have to make one?

  • you can ether make one and bye the parts for it and thats going to go alot of money or you can by one that's al ready made and tested but it's your chose if u wish to make one or bye one if u make one u will be spending a lot of time building the bits but if u get one already made and tested its worth if because if u made one u would have pyed more for it if u didnt bye a ready made one but as i say its your chose

  • Hi NScaleTrainMan, You can buld one of your own, there are sites dedicated to building a 7.5 Gauge railway. Excellent stuff for sure.

  • Steamy...

  • The oldest miniature steam locomotive I work with is 59 years old, it was built in 1949.

  • Neat!

  • I wanna see! I love miniature steam! I've driven a few of my friends steamers and I loved it!

  • Excelent!

  • Burnaby Central Railway is a great place to spend my second childhood. 3601 is my favourite locomotive. Normally I can make it around the track with 5 completely loaded cars without a problem. If the track is wet or rusty sometimes the engine will lose traction and spin. Sometimes due to operator error the steam pressure gets low and the engine struggles on the steeper grades. I enjoyed discovering this video with me driving my favourite engine on youtube. Come and enjoy our railroad.

  • Thanks for driving! :)

  • i have been there before the train was was holding so much people had to push it the hole way

  • Nice....Great ...Super !

  • You did a real nice job with this. I love the live steam also.

  • Thanks.

  • hello hey I come from Mexico and Im in Burnaby for one year and I want to go there can you tell me where is it please

  • aww that small lil train is just adorable. Its amazing what technology does nowadays! gr8 video

  • The locomotive is around 70 years old. Yes, technology is great when I can share this train with you. :)

  • Love it! My little boy three years old, loves it....Again and again!

  • Cool. :)

  • That brings back good ol childhood memories of my days playing with trains in my room

  • I still play with trains in my room. ;)

  • Wow that small steam engine sure has a lot of strenght to pull all of u

  • Think of how much a real single loco can pull in freight. Hundreds of times it's wieght. Steel wheels on rails are very efficient.

  • Thanks.

  • What makes it so great is your cute daughter

  • I have lived down here most of my life, I love trains, and I never came across this? DANG!

  • It's never too late. :)

  • Very Cool Video! Where abouts in Burnaby is this?

    thanks,

    Boomer

  • I don't know Burnaby. My father in law brings me there when I visit Vancouver (Burnaby is a seperate city, but basically a suburb of Vancouver). They have a web site. Type in "British Columbia Society of Model Engineers." YouTube would not let me cut and paste the web address here. The web site includes address and directions.

  • Thanks. I found out it's in Confederation Park in Burnaby. I'll have to take my dogs for a ride.

    Thanks again,

    Boomer

  • Sehr schön! Very nice! More....please!

    Real-Steam-greetings from Germany

  • Big as in 6foot 7inches :P

  • Very cool, it looks a lot like the AVR (Assiniboine Valley Railway) we have in Manitoba

  • Glad you liked it. :)

  • Im to big for it! used to go as a kid

  • You are never too big. My inner child is 14 and I am 38! I love trains too much and have too much fun. :)

  • Nice, that place is in my back yard!

  • If I was you I'd be over there a lot. My backyard here in Victoria has an old basketball court. :( - Terry

  • go and see the video of swiss vapeur parc. They too have some interesting locomotives you can ride on!

  • hey?

where are the comments about the hot girls???

  • Well, as this is a train video I took them out. The hot girls in question being my wife and daughter.

  • Your video is great and I've rated it as awesome. Please check out mine on some 1920's railway centenary tobacco cards and a short clip of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch miniature railway.

  • Ill check it out... Thanks.

  • cool video i love miniature trains we have one where i live in england called the Ravenglass & Eskdale.

I am Canadian, living in Victoria, British Columbia. I am originally from Corner Brook, Newfoundland (Terre Neuve). I lived in Quebec for a year a long while ago. My wife is from Gatineau, Quebec. The neatest place I have ever lived is the Yukon and I have some great pictures of the White Pass and Yukon Railway.

    Thanks! :)

  • The loco driver is Edwin Bussey. His daughter emailed me to sat how thrilled her two kid's were to see grandpa driving the train! It was one of the nicest emails I have ever received.

    Terry

  • i live in corner brook! obviously you are a train fan so i thought as someone who used to live in corner brook you need to know this. The train museum in humbermouth is closing! they cant get funding from the government for hireing students so they arent opening this year and they dont think they will get funding anymore so it looks like its over for the museum, the 593 steam engine and the desiel push plow :( the last little bits of the great old newfoundland railway are slowly fading away...

  • Truly sad. I took my firt ever picture with my new little Kodak camera of 593 when it was in Steady Brook. That was 1974. I am a member of the Newfoundland Railway newsgroup on Yahoo. You should check them out if you have not already.

  • GOOD NEWS!! the federal governent announced today that they are going to provide the funding to all the places that had orriganally cut, so ALL ABOARD THE 593!!

  • Terry,Are you a Canadian or a American ?

  • Spiffy Terry!
