If you watch the videos of stomp dancing, you will see me. Something like 20,000 visitors came and a few thousand Indians from all over the US.
Go to the US National Parks Service web site & contact the rangers at Ocmulgee. They can tell you more than I can about the history. Modern attitudes are a bit different.
