  • Love this video, Ben. Thank you so much for sharing your work with us.

I wonder about the moving blurry deep particles background at the beginning (0:18 - 0:24). Did you create that? If so, please share how you did that. It's very cool. if you obtained it elsewhere, please let us know where we can find segments like that for our projects. Thank you!

  • wow!!! great work!!;;0:):))))

  • does the different light need to set in a specific ratio? i mean the keylight and all the rest

  • Excellent photos. Thinking about going further with my model photography, been using natural light till now. Still in doubt about wether to get a speedlight setup or a ''standard'' strobe setup with external generator. Great tutorials!!

  • @ThrottleandStick A speedlight is an excellent and budget way to start out with in regards to off-camera lighting. It's light weight and portability can't be matched.

  • AWESOME... as always Ben!

  • Very cool man!

  • Mind blowing and inspirational!

  • Great work I remember checking this out ages ago. Wish you had more videos going up like this as I enjoyed watching them even the equip tips with the FRAMED show. But video was well worth the wait. Its inspired me to give it a go.

    Scott.

  • @ruption0 FRAMED is an educational and inspirational free source for information. They are in production of Season 3 now from what I gather. Not sure if I'll be invited to be a part of it. Regardless, I am always stopping by their site each week to be refreshed with info and ideas

  • awesome work man, i love the photos.

You mentioned making paintburshes with paint and paper, how did you do that?

    Loved Houglands work too.

  • @joshmolina3 I got some old darker paint I had sitting around the house and threw it on some old white background paper. Creating a brush from a shape or image in PS is easy. Make sure it's under 2000x2000 pixels. Have the brush tool selected and go to EDIT>Create brush preset
