I don't see how a human could have the nerve, no the insensitivity, to be capable to do something that horrible to another living being. as much as i dont like bush, (hes an idot) but he is a good leader, for example, on 9/11, he found out while he was in the middle of reading a book to a bunch of kids. and alot of people were mad about that, but think about it, what could he do? he could A.) leave, and upset the children or B.) stay and finish and not worry the children. and think about this, the attack was over, there was nothing he could do. so instead of freaking out a bunch of kids, he handled it AFTER.

At least that's how I feel, but due to the fact that it was the babysitter, I don't really have any kind of a defense for her. As humiliating and hard as it is to admit that you need help, she should have tried to play it safe and, especially if she was having a bad day, admitted her weakness even if the baby needed to be taken care of.

@jbean0 and made a terrible mistake. What should happen is there should be a way to revive the baby, and/or to repair brain damage and the like - why do you think we have scientists and people studying biology, and people studying cloning and stem cell research? Etc. etc. etc.
Then you should get the mother a babysitter, and teach her ways to try and calm the baby without hurting it, that way it stops crying.
