do a wikipedia search on betty lou oliver..she was the elevator operator on the 79th floor that day where the plane crashed..not only did she survive the impact of the plane after getting thrown, but when they put her in the elevator to take her down, the cables were weak beacause of the crash and she plunged 75 stories down..but survived again...
Catherine O'Connor described the crash:There were five or six seconds and three-quarters of the office was instantaneously consumed in this sheet of flame. One man was standing inside the flame. I could see him. It was a co-worker, Joe Fountain. His whole body was on fire. I kept calling to him, "Come on, Joe; come on, Joe." He walked out of it. Joe Fountain died several days later. Eleven of the office workers were burned to death, some still sitting at their desks.
The plane could not have been travelling at 250 mph. The cruising speed of a B-25 is 230 mph. Many people witnessed the plane, first descending (normal approach speed 160) with the wheels coming down. Once over St. Patrick's, the pilot recognized his error (not clearing the tip of Manhattan), banked hard left attempting to turn back but saw the Chrysler building. Banking right, pulling the gear up & applying full power, he climbed steeply. His speed could not been much above 140 when he hit.
At the end, the part where its filming the city, u can see the twin towers :,( poor towers
