I needed this to see that "all of the potatoes were french fried fried fried."for over 50 years I could not understand what Betty and Wilma were saying.lol
the color of their hats also changes. when they come in wilma has the blue hat and betty has the green but at the end of the song wilma has the green hat and betty has the blue one
i love this song of wilma and betty musical number burger on the run as fred and barney work at the burger place where two teenage girls work there as fred and barney call them charley and irving as wilma and betty will think forget you are crazy
@TheChuck624 Why even comment something so stupid? Wait, to get comments like this from people like me. Well, congrats-you did it! So how does it feel big man? Dink...
Oh, you know what? I actually got to see this episode in full online---I think it was a WB website or something like that. How wild!!!!! I liked this episode---Wilma and Betty sure had the fine art of "GOTCHA!" when it came to their husbands!!!!
What was the storyline here? Obviously, Fred and Barney screwed up somewhere along the liine, and they are hearing it from their spouses, in their own way!!!
@meowfit The plot of this episode was that Fred and Barney had quit their jobs and bought a drive-in restaurant without telling their wives. Wilma and Betty find out and rub it in their noses.
@meowfit They quit their jobs because they wanted to run a hamburger joint despite knowing nothing about how to run their own business, and they made Wilma and Betty work as carhops and sing that song.
@soulcornflake1 Wilma and Betty didn't work at the burger joint. Fred and Barney hid the fact they quit their jobs and called the teenage girls who worked for them as carhops "Charlie" and "Irving" when talking on the phone. One night, the wives followed the boys and found out the truth, and made them sell the business. ("2000 pounds of parceley -to throw away!")
@meowfit -- Fred & Barney had quit their jobs to open a fast food drive in with 2 young hottie carhops who sang that song. In this final scene Wilma and Betty were imitating those 2 carhops. Hey! Wouldn't it be great if the carhops at Superdawg in Chicago would learn that song! LOL☺
I think this is a remake of some sort. That's not Fred or Barney's voice in 1960, nor Wilma and Betty for that matter. And the colors are way too vibrant. Someone screwed up the color of their dresses momentarily. I'm gonna go with remake.
@LordSnow69 No this is definitly an original cartoon, Barney just had a different person doing his voice. I dunno why they put WIlma and Betty in different dresses.

Actually Wilma and Betty look good in the opposite color dresses. I always thought Wilma would look good in green and Betty in pink.

If not the greatest classic comedic "rags" in ALL animation than, one of the funniest from the Flintstones.

That was my favorite cartoon when I was a child, Around 7 years old. Like to see every day! Too bad at the time the TVs were in black and white

Drawing dull. Without being dubbed into Portuguese, not funny.

And why is Wilmas dress Blue and Betty's is white, but when they get up to go to the bathroom the colors have switched?
mishramancer 1 year ago 20
@mishramancer good catch. I didn't notice that. you gotta love that high-quality Hanna-Barbera animation.
BaronOfBayonne 1 year ago 14
@mishramancer Continuity error. They put the wrong heads on the wrong bodies. Wilmas and Bettys' neckwear is switched too.
LordSnow69 7 months ago
@LordSnow69 I used to just think they changed clothes I mean most people dont wear the same dress and neckware all the time.

I think "nose our powders" must be a euphemism for doing a few lines of coke.
