Ive only done 2 confined water dives but im on my way to a full certification and one of the tests we had to do was 8 laps in an olympic sized pool. She would never pass. These people are idiots. And CarMoves is right. Throwing a tank on some idiot doesnt make them a scuba diver.

Why doesn't that girl know that no matter what u still have your buoncy compensator to help regulate your depth that's why u can fill it up with oxygen so you can float up safely but if your like 300 feet under water you need to sit there so you can get the carbon monoxide out if your lungs and im 15 I go to Nassau bahamas every summer to dive so woman stop panicking god women shod never scuba

@danman3150 Sounds like you have no idea how to dive. First the last thing you want to do is sit at 300 feet, You would be taking on Nitrogen not Carbon Monoxide. Also you are not filling your BC with Oxygen. It's just air. If you breath straight oxygen at 30 or 40 feet you will die. If you don't know what you're talking about just keep your mouth shut.

Scuba diving and the dangers inherently involved are not well enough know by the general public. People who do quicky courses on vacation or go with a suposed experienced diver have no idea of all the things that can go wrong. Don't do it people take the course or go with a certified instructor, not a buddy. Scuba is one of the most incredible things you can do in life, do it right and have fun.

I was watching this with a friend who is Turkish and she pointed out to me that this guy on the boat is speaking in Turkish. She also pointed out that Turkey would be the last place to go for a dive as they are so careless and most the so called dive instructors are not qualified. Most of the dive instructors turn a hobby of diving into a career.

When I did my PADI course, the recommended maximum ascent rate was 18m per minute (or 60 fpm). This is what is says in my PADI open water course book. Most organisations recommend 8 or 9m per minute.

Actually u can do scuba diving if u can't swim IF u are very confident being round water, just that u sink and drown. Once u panic thats it. U rush to the surface, ok in a pool, but in the sea u definitely exceed the recomended ascent rate of 60ft/18m per min

The rate (of ascent during a scuba dive)is not none other than 30 fpm, because you weren't even taught that, you were taught that that is the MAXIMUM ascent rate, you won't die if you go slower (or faster in this case). Check more sources before you come back.
