  • @phambo101

I still dream of owning a triple black 1970 charger one day and I will but for right now I own a 2008 charger. Damn, get over it.

  • @phambo101

Well u stay living in the fucking past then! If you're really as passionate about these cars as u try to act like u r u should b happy they aren't letting them fucking die!! I'm a diehard MOPAR fan, and whole there are some things that I don't like it's about the overall package. It preserves the soul of the original car for a new generation. Everyone would love to own a classic Challenger but everyone isn't fucking able to pay that much for an old car that may still need work. I sti

  • @1965cuda273

Why? Same style of wheel that was on Kowalski's car in the movie.

  • @bigorange1986

Serious about what, having fun? This is just a charity thing, it's not like they're remaking the damn movie; calm the fuck down.

  • The pistol grip shifter (non stock item) for this crappy Tonka Toy-looking car would cost the owner an addition $700+...THANKS, BUT, NO FUCKIN' THANKS...I'D STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL 70s STYLE!!!

  • Is Kowalski played by Harold Ramis? I love this car!

  • beautiful. I just bought a 2011 Hemi 392 IE, #214. Love it. Well done.

  • what a shit of car

  • have you guys see the real version of the challenger. that one done right. also has the 1970' shifter

  • ughly fucking rims . way to ruin a beautiful car.

  • Please tell me they are not serious.... Gawd!! I HATE remakes. This Challenger does sound good but the wheels suck. Give the original ANY DAY! The new one looks like a smoothed over bar of soap... chunky like the new Kowalski...lol

  • there must be a way to make the new challenger look more like an old challenger. its too shiny and smoothe

  • LOVE those wheels!

  • if they remake this film they will ruin it

  • @gamerinsideu16 they actually did, and yes it was fail...

  • that rims suck!

  • Damn..that challenger is hot..Go Kowalski..

  • Kowalsky overweight!!

  • come check out my challenger and other ones.

just type in "the dodge challenger highlights"(it will be the first video on the page and it will be by "therussianafros").......watch it........come to my channel and watch all of the other ones....enjoy

  • What the hell is SuperSoul doing behind the wheel? He's BLIND...

  • Professional driver on closed coarse, do not attempt! HORSESHIT! Why else would I buy one?

  • Looks like Kowalski's still on the Speed ! lmao pun intended

  • Dodge Challenger Rocks!! The ultimate speed machine!

  • this is wayyy better than masturbation.....

  • those rims are "CHALLENGER" by Chip Foose. they used those wheels for the pun.

  • The Rims are a decent attempt at remaking the original Chrysler rims. I like em. They might be better if they chromed the center lug cap and maybe if the wheels weren't so Low Profile though. They shouldn't be afraid to give the newer cars, more rubber! I say nice work!

  • Instead of Progressing we are Regressing. This car gives testament to our great American Failure.

  • @tdr124 get your forein ass off youtube

  • @tdr124 screw you bitch!!! then y is american cars whippin the shit out of imports??!! good question...

  • Pretty sure Kowalski never had 20's. OH BOY,POSTED SPEEDS

  • gay rim

  • the rims killed the car

  • Not bad... But nothing can beat the good old 1970 challenger r/t.

  • Vanishing Point, best cult movie ever

  • this is the worst video ever. u cant remake the best movie ever!! u ruin it! failL! all over!

  • god those rims are hideous, I really prefer the stock rims over those

  • To Dodge boys: A Vanishing Point edition would be great. But go all the way and redo the original Challenger styled steel wheels from the seventies. Of course they would have to be larger than 15", but not 20". I just hate the stock SRT wheels. Five spoke and cartoonishly large. You're not selling these to 16 year olds. About 18" would probably be right. You're on the right track with these wheels in the vid. And red R/T emblems in the appropriate spots. Make the 6.1 available in the R/T also.

  • Too bad they destroyed this challenger in One Lap of America.

  • @brett3xmvpfavre4 really? what happened?

  • @jimmybrown11111

I cant post a link, but google "one lap of america challenger crash" click the 2nd link.

  • cute video..but remakes suck..in movies and muscle cars sorry guys

  • those rims are so gay way to go u jus ruined a good car but the 1970 challenger was perfect

  • car is not worth the money

  • Anyone can look it up, during the race they lost control and drove it into the wall... a little ironic I think.

  • somebody please post the full 1971 vanishing point on youtube. i cant find it to rent. thatd be great

  • Wow, kowalski has really let himself go.

  • @hypermite01 don't worry his car too the new challanger looks fat to the old one xdd

  • @hypermite01 It's rough in the afterlife dude.

  • anyone else want new rims?

  • anyone know what exhaust was used on the car? I would be curious to know of a variant for the 5.7L

  • loooool his smiling face xDDD

  • This is so gay

  • Epic :L

  • the way the guy at 2:40 says DOUBLE YOU DOUBLE YOU DOUBLE YOU made me rofl

  • that challenger is bad ass, do they make any other colors in the srt8 models other that black and orange? id love to have an srt8 in B-5 blue!

  • i would jsut straight pipe a challenger. Straight up!

  • And what about end of your trip he he????

  • i LOVE the sound of it

  • To bad they wrecked it, oh well...

  • They didn't actually wreck a challenger

  • @mopardust73 Well the front end was pretty fuck'd up

  • Yeah, very true. A bull dozer will do that to you. I think they used a camero to do the crash scene. haha

  • @mopardust73 What are you talking about? They wrecked this car! Put this on google search: vanishing-point-dodge-challenger-wrecked-on-one-lap-of-america

  • Oh damn, I was talking about the movie "Vanishing point". Well any challenger wrecked is still sad.

  • @mopardust73 True, they used 440/4 speed cars and one 383/727, the 383 was the car that drew the Camaro to bulldozer's.One Challenger was later stolen by hooker but the got it back. The 97 VP remake was total shit...

  • it was a camaro that took place in the last scene with the bulldozers

  • and ours is better

  • Ours actually looks like the origanal. EXACT exept new version

  • I didn't much care for the new style Challenger until I saw this one in white. That's one bad-ass looking car when it's painted white :D

  • slow as fuck

  • Makes me pissed off that they don't offer the SRT-8 in white.

  • just goes to show you that a cool car still cant help a complete tool behind the wheel

  • grumpypant we are sorry about you because you cant even dream about this chally YOU may get cheap mustang , but dont even think about hemi because challenger srt8 is the best ever american muscls cars . you are just small boy talking about cars that you can buy it.

  • Your not that much of an OLD mopar fan bubba. Otherwise you wouldn't go for the ford. Therefore it is my belief that YOU really are nothing more than a POSER!!!

  • I'm pretty sure the srt-8 does have a pistol grip for the manual

  • the new one is ten times nicer faster better than any old piece of rusting junk from the 60 s get with the times boy!

  • i love the mustang too but you still dont know about cars..the challenger does have a pistol grip shifter for the manual and the third reason you said was an opinion not a fact

  • Sorry, Dodgeboys, your effort isn't good enough; we don't know what you had in your cafe-latte coffee there while drawing the new Challenger concepts; but, this new car isn't good enough!!!

  • Rest in peace, Clemon!!!...

  • beautiful car

  • wow from the thumbnail i thought it was going to look like shit... but it fucking looks pretty sick!

  • Nice fuel cap on it, you'll need a nice on because you'll be filling up that HEMI a lot =P

Am I the only one to commment on the panel gaps etc? This challenger has bad ones on the trunk and the hood and the rear light on 1:29 doesn't line up all the way across. The fact the car is white doesn't help them stop standing out.

Its one badass car though. Dodge couldn't have done any better than that designing it.

    Pure art!

  • the rear light is just aligned incorrectly...that can be fixed

the rest.......i dunno, but it still looks amazing

  • Nice.

  • the rims are like a modern day raleigh rim that challengers came out with back in the day.

  • its so beautiful yet so damn xpensive dammit this is my dream car

  • There where no srt 8 back in the days you should of got the r/t Challenger white

  • man these cars are really nice. Its just to bad its so heavy...

  • the new Camaro is a failure, the SRT-8 challenger is putting out better numbers on the track by my house. The Camaro's interior is cheap, but theyre both great cars. the Challenger is twice as cool and came out 2 or 3 years before the Camaro.

  • @ MPLSTORM - The new camaro messed up on its styling. It looks nice, but you put it up my an old camaro, its seriously ugly! Yet, you can compare the new Challenger to the old one since its got simpler, more original lines.

  • the new Camaro is a failure, came out too late, everyones already bought a Challenger, plus if the Camaro came out 2 years later it should have better numbers but the Challenger has more torque, and is pulling better numbers @ the track by my house, even though the Challenger is heavier. and the handling is much better with the challenger. Both great cars.

  • ugly rims on thischallenger

  • No way man, those are original design challenger wheels with a modern twist designed by Chip Foose...

  • eh they did good on the body with the whole "modern twist thing" but these wheels belong on a different vehicle. not a replica of the vanishing point challenger

  • Uhh ok what vehicle do u recommend?? These are the modern replicas of the exact wheel that they had on the Vanishing point Challenger in the 70's look it up man... It's about creating a retro vehicle not just throwing rims on a car. U need to get a different prespective than just looking at it as a new car with new rims on it...

  • @amdrew9395 - They are just bigger, modern versions of the standard wheels on the origional challenger, they're cool.

  • yeah there not bad but it would be much better with an upgrade

  • @andrew9395 They're supposed to look like the ones used on the car in the movie

  • @andrew9395 you don't understand

  • They don't even make a White Challenger SRT-8. I wonder why?

  • it would be awesome to see new movie vanishing point on the cinema with this new challenger " " P

  • no, royal faggots would be riding streetbikes

  • so anyone who has the balls to actually go fast is automatically a fudge packer?makes perfect sense :) !

  • ninjakid likes to milk his grandpa's prostrate

  • the beautifust challenger!

  • 22"

  • greatest movie ever!

  • hahaha funny...

  • Do you know the brand and size of those wheels?

  • maybe foose challenge.

    size looks like 20"

  • I love how this car sounds just like the 70's Challenger

  • Nice car shit rims

  • Yea the rims do suck! why they chose those rims i don't know why

  • i gotta agree with ya dude. Throw some American Torques on there. make it look like a muscle car is meant to be.

  • yeah most new muscle cars have those foose rims

  • Good, cause they aren't gonna get any asshole.

  • Doesn't sound too serious. A couple of yahoos having fun maybe. Kowalski doesn't look the part at all. Super Soul does but he gets his sight back so he won't miss out on all the driving fun. Give me a break. And driving fast on tracks only? Pussies. Either make the movie right or don't bother. The original wasn't a great movie either.

  • i dont think they were going for any awards, calm down prick.

  • that car is sexy

  • Yep, I'm with you, bro: the new "Challenger" isn't wide and low enough; no pistol grip shifter; Super Soul suppose to be blind; and Kawalski is slimmer!

Lets take this little "Return To Vanishing Point" stunt as a Farewell Plymouth /Obama Motors Co. Tour.

  • you;re right, the new Challenger isn't wide enough. my dad and i almost bought one last year but we decided not to because we can go get the original. =D

  • The new Challenger is taller, wider and longer than the original. I'm a mopar person but that car is pig heavy.

  • oh well. but the old 1 is still way sexier. =D

  • Its because its based on the Charger platform, and though that was also the case 39 years ago, they modified the hell out of the B-body (Charger) platform then to make the Challenger and 2nd generation Baracudas/'Cudas.

  • don't b a ass hole

  • mehhhh, i'll take the original

  • Fuckin' so Sick it makes me puck a lung 6.0 hemi Biotch

  • fucken sick!!!!

  • too bad they didn't make a 69 Challenger. They started in 70`

  • dude he drives an 87 escort...he has no idea

  • It"ll be interesting what new bullshit he"ll say next

  • lol

  • Great pony car, just too damn bad chrysler had to make it so big, and heavy.

  • rubbish and a discrace to the real movie

  • it`s a piece of shit....i wouldn`t give a `70 challenger on this one....NEVER....EVER...EVER:)).......

  • agreed the new one looks shit.

  • yeah... not as cool as your 87 escort....dork

  • Glad you think so.But, id rather have a 69 challenger.

  • now thats 1 sick ass car!!

  • both looks stupid

  • Even the same license plate # as the original!! Cool!!!

  • Great car and yes it does look nice in white

  • KOWALSKY!!!!!!GO MAN!!!

  • nice vest dude..hahaha...sick car tho..

  • Everytime I see the new "Challenger," the first thing comes to my mind is: "Gee golly, look at that genetic-made die casted car!"

  • I'm sorry to say, but, the SRT8 has very little to remind any Mopar nut the original Challenger:

    ...no pistol grip shifter

    ...no Ralley instrumental guages

    ...very little chrome

    ...not low enough

    ...should I go on?

  • not into the wheels... they looked better as 15s? whatever size they were back in the day.

  • Are you serious??? your driving across America "legally"? Am I the only who saw the movie vanishing point, cause there wasn't anything legal about Kowalski and that challenger. I dont know if the actor who played is dead but if he is he would be rolling in his grave. Nice challenger though, I never seen one in white before.

  • he's still alive, his name is Barry Neuman, and the white they have it in is a one of a kind, the SRT8 comes in white, but its a pearl white not like this white at all. Your not the only one who has seen the movie, I have it on DVD it was/is one of those cult car guy movies from the early 70's. You should look for the original 'Gone in 60 Seconds'

  • Cool i just bought the vanishing point dvd so i could watch it again, but that Gone In 60 Seconds original is gonna be hard to find. I never even knew there was an original one beside the cult classic a majority people refer to.

  • I have the dvd of that movie and it is GREAT! Any Dodge fanboy (such as myself) would kill for this car...Or even better,a '66 Charger cause it came first.

  • Not even close!

  • Wow Kowalski aged well! Love that hair--sexy beast baby! He's probably waitin for the naked chick to show up riding her motorcycle! haha One of the best car movies EVER

  • Okay i love these cars, but doesnt it seem kinda a bad time to come out with new muscle cars? I guess it really doesnt matter "too big to fail", they will get our money one way or another. Either from buying a car or the government giving them our tax money.

  • japan bailed out toyota and honda 2 times since 1989 guess your idiots wont talk about that, they are anti american

  • that car is badass!!

  • DODGE 4 LIFE

  • mustangs are for girls

  • Sorry,no pass go

  • the only good mustangs where the old 5.0's , other wise they just make me yawn as they pass

  • Mustang is a girls car

  • what kind of rims are those?

  • Fucking bullshit. Why no Stone White SRT8s for sale?

  • POS.....

  • The rims actually look like the foose rims that were on the special edition green challenger convertable here on you tube. It's an aftermarket option that along with the supercharger and convertible top run the car up to around 60 thousand.

  • Maybe the time has come for Vanishing Point 2009? The original movie deserves a better remake than the shit put out in -97??? with Viggo Mortensen.... About the rims, take a look at the "rallye wheels" on the original -71 Challenger and you´ll get the picture!

By the way, the original soundtrack from the movie is awesome...it´s one of my favourite car-chase movies of all times!

  • The rims suck.

Hands down the challenger looks better then the mustang.

  • don't you hate it how people from the u.s. call themselves america(this time they refer to the racetrack), when clearly that half of that world is refered to as america, north and south. including canada, cuba, brazil etc. It's united states.

  • lol u got that rite

  • which one I am going to buy in 4 years. Mustan vs Challenger

  • That is why I have a Mustang in the driveway and a Challenger in the garage.
