I love the breakdown part it is a true alternative jam a brief but true musical movement it was bought up by corporate record companys and never sounded as good again it all seems whiny now like a whining little patheticon I like the breakdown
@sun4ever777: I think that one's maybe pushing it a bit; though divination would probably have led President Bush to make more sensible choices than attempting to use his own mind. I'm pretty sure he still thinks he did a wonderful job.
These guys should be recognized for the musical geniuses they are...until then, the fans will all enjoy their music. :-) David Lowery is the F*&^kin' best poet of our generation. Just sayin'
@n2violin CVB certainly changed the direction of alt music in the 80's. In the last couple of decades it has swung back to meaningless commercial crap. So glad they have reformed, just need then to regularly produce a few more albums. DL is the Dylan of our times with more witty lyrics.
Just saw them here in NYC. Nice to see them after all these years.

Takes me back to wild youth in the early 90s

@sun4ever777 you mean a statist-central banking meltdown. George W. Bush was a corporatist, not a capitalist.

I had the good taste to listen to this album in high school.
My friends were listening to Vanilla Ice and I took a different path...it has made
all the difference.

@n2violin: well, it's not necessarily saying very much that he's the best poet of his generation. There's not much competition.
But I agree that CVB's music is great; and shamefully neglected.
