because the word "el" means "god" in hebrew. and many hebrew names end with this word.

Nataniel me means "i was given by god", another common name is Natanel/Netanel which means just about the same.

also the name Lia means "my god" (or something like that), you are right, it's interesting how your name is similar to hebrew names.

every hebrew name ending with ya sound (-ia) or -el means something with god.
