@LazieGenius I don't remember what the actual name or brand was. I'm sure it is somewhere below in the comments. But these desks have been discontinued for a couple of years. I actually just moved from Seattle to Tampa and gave one desk to my brother and the other one to a neighbor. I didn't want to ship them. It was just easier that way.

@weird3oh69 Why would you want to? your crosshairs would be in the middle of the two monitors and it would be unplayable. You need an odd number of monitors or it just doesn't work

@weird3oh69 The two monitors was just for multitasking. Still haven't gone the extra step to get a third one. Plus I would need either another GTX480 or just upgrade to a newer card that would support 3 monitors.

Multi-monitor is a lot of fun, I started my own this year and there's no going back, you can do so much more simultaneously with more than one monitor. I love being able to having a movie on one and browsing the net or playing a game at the same time.

My ultimate setup is a large corner workstation desk, 3 27" monitors, and then one wall-mounted 42" or bigger LCD or plasma above for movies.

@Mykem1977 Lol they are computers. You do know running a High end Pc for 6 hours is equal to using an electric kettle Twice for 2 cups of coffee in the morning.

Pc are cheap on power & cheap to run, Specialy with LCD's, New Power Supplies, Cpu's With powerdown, Video cards with throttling.

I never did understand why people always worry so much about Wattage when building a pc, like this cpu versus that cause it's 10W less, Meh, Still 90% of pc's drain less than 2400Watts(kettle rating)

@sonicgearHD this is why people usually get 3 monitors so that the cross-hair for the gun is not split onto 2 screens. if you have 3, the cross-hair will be on the middle screen :) hope this helped x

@graffix3001 Glass and or chrome desks are my favorite for a puter station. I really dont understand Max either. You have a decent setup for 2009, but the only problem I see with it is that your desk is tiny. Hopefully you have managed to upgrade to at least a U or L shaped multilayer desk by then. Also useful for keeping the subwoofer out of the way of feet.

@Bossm4nJones It comes with a power and negative wire that attach to a plug that looks like you would hook speaker wire into. The power supply I used which was only about $8-$12 has a negative and positive wire that I hooked right into the connections.

I couldn't tell you about the rest of what you were thinking. Anything is possible.
