Isn't that interesting. How on earth does a green and blue lovebird createa yellow one?! Wow? Is it a lutino?

Yes, Chicken Little is a Lutino Peach Faced lovebird. We were all very surprised by his color too. I don't know what the parents looked like of my breeding pair but one or most likely both carried a recessive 'ino' gene that was passed down to create Chicken! Lola, the blue daddy bird for sure has a recessive gene, so Houdini, the green bird must have had a yellow parent. I will never know though because I caught Houdini flying around my neighborhood a few yrs ago. She can open cage doors!
