If you look that guitar up on schecters website (Blackjack ATX C-8) the pictures for the white and walnut finish have AHB-1's for pickups in the pictures but the black finish has EMG 808's.

nice job man! a little tip for helping you out about the open strings leakage that mess up a little your sound by remaining sustained!! you can use that rubber thing that girls have for their hair to make a ponytail ,placing it on the top of your first fret near the headstock will mute a little the open strings so that you can tap without messing the sound :) do that and with your great playing you will be perfect!! :) thank for the music you kindly share with us!!

Great job. I play a 7 string myself, and the piano style works so much better when there's more than just 6 strings. Very nice tone as well. I agree the best tone is the fingers playing, not the equipment. Talent always beats toys.

Glad you liked it(the dark side of me, lol). They wanted the ending to certainly be definitive, and leave one with an impression of the film(i was told it certainly did that, lol). It was the final scene, and it was a suicide.

@Zedferme having delay helps. that way, any partially muted notes still "ring". reverb and delay especially make it sound much more full when tapping on clean. still, genuine technique tops effects any day :)

@dharpify1 i don't really feel qualified to give tips but basically get the guitar action as low as possible, use some kind of damper and start by fretting easy chords on the left and simple lead lines on the right... sorry i can't be of more help
