  • the way Marcus smiles at the end <3 he's so happy!

  • you realise the poor bastard you just profited off is alone, and poor with less than 300 quid in his pocket, mean while you make over 10 mill. where is the fairness in that??

  • These guys are good! I hope they stay healthy and away from all the inevitable temptations their fame will bring in the coming months and years! We don't need anymore famous people to "off" themselves. Sold out all over the world! Can't get tix anywhere.

  • FUCKING AMAZING!

  • true musicians..or magicians..

  • 1 thing wrong about this performance

    I WASN'T THERE !

  • Two things wrong with this performance:

    1) they have shirts on

    2) I wasn't there

    LOVE M&Sons so much :)

  • @roxyroxandrolls haha! they always have shirts on! It's wrong!

  • @LiberTBo I now nominate @TheTwollocks as our unofficial spokesperson. God Save The Queen and sausage rolls. they are what makes this nation great.

  • @4500jp .... lol

  • what i would give to see these guys live

  • Oh Yeah @3.04 Doesn't get any better than that!

  • its awesome to see a band smiling and having a TON of fun while making great music

  • i really like this band

  • Barefoot Ben? Me likey.

  • I love seeing Ben Lovett dancing and of course "the stomping" is the best

  • I bought their album sigh no more, after I heard Liar, the cave and little lion man,

and I just have to say the album is amazing! I really love them, they are my favourite band, and I am from germany ;)

in germany we could never have such an amazing performance, the music, the crowd, the band just amazing... I LOVE england ♥ and I LOVE them ♥ please come to germany!!!

  • This song make's me wanna dance and feel alive! Thank you Mumford and sons...thank you.

  • @jamesfrank96 so much life!

  • so much energy!

  • Blooody love you!

  • [carrying on from previous comment] you're not going to ne able to make everyone think this song is rubbish, so how can we be 'stupid hipsters'? you're just the kind of person who can't enjoy listening to music properly like the rest of us.

  • 14 dislikes? oh god please, forgive them

  • @monoXcide01 so how come i count up marcus playing roughly 8 chords? don't exaggerate to try and make mumford and sons sound shit because they're extremely talented. Can they not just mess around and try to make the song sound really fun without showing their real talent? this is the only song where they "stomp", so you hardly should be complaining about them trying to naturally make a drum beat with thier feet. AND look at the majority, roughly 99% of people like the song, you're not going to

  • absolute class....cant see any track replacing this as my fave for a good many years to come....brilliant..

  • Mumford and Sons deserve to be Irish, they act too wild and drink too much for Brits....

  • @LiberTBo shut the fuck up dickhead .... only some american arsehole who doesn't know what the english are really like would come out with shit like that ... you complete fucking dickhead ... only an american would say something so stupid and you wonder why us brits dont like you

  • @TheTwollocks Once again, I don't believe the people of Great Brittan asked you to speak for them and try to create bad relations or imply there are. We seem to get along quite well without you and your foul mouth.

  • @LiberTBo you complete fucking idiot ....fuck you americans

  • @TheTwollocks Thanks, but I don't believe the good people of England elected you as their spokesman.

  • @LiberTBo im english ..... and you are a fucking idiot

  • @LiberTBo just some arsehole fucking american who has never stepped foot in ireland or england

  • @LiberTBo and im pretty sure most english people will agree with me .... we are fucking sick and tired of americans stupid ridiculous so far from the truth stupidity when they try and have an opinion on what the english are really like ..... you are a fucking arsehole

  • @LiberTBo AMERICAN ARSEHOLE

  • @TheTwollocks You're really making an idiot out of youself, Do you think you can intimidate people by cursing like a madman? No way, you just make yourself look ignorant and foolish.

  • @LiberTBo no you already did that yourself ...by writing a stupid... really stupid comment

  • @TheTwollocks - No one is capable of topping you in that category.

  • @LiberTBo you have already done it .... your comment is still on this video

  • @TheTwollocks No, You've almost two pages demonstrative of writing them, you are the winner by the sheer volume and content.

  • @LiberTBo go listen to your own shit fucking music

  • @TheTwollocks First of all, I'll listen to who I please and it's entirely up to me, not you.

  • AWESOME SONG. This is one of my favorites. Instruments are made to be played and this is a perfect example of how they should be played

  • Can't stop listening to this song over and over as its so great.

  • Marcus' smile at 2:27

  • i like classic rock and im 12 and i love this song its one of my favorites

  • The part when they stop and pound and go back in hard as hell i can honestly in my years of listening the Beatles, Zepplin, and the Stones far surpasses anything they did on they're first albums...

  • just as an fyi, i realized the other day that the roughly quote Shakespeare's macbeth with "stars hide you fires, these here are my desires..." although MandS turned the quote around in an interesting way to change he meaning of the original...i love them ;)

  • yeeee aaarrrgghhh

    gotta love it

  • BARN DANCE!!!!!

  • holy fuck this is good.

  • I'm loving this crowd! I'm going to see Mumford & Sons tonight in Montreal and I hope the crowd is as pumped as they are here!! There's nothing worse than going to a live show where everyone stands in place with their arms folded

  • @monoXcide01 I hate it when people like you mistake simplicity for bad or unworthy music. Complexity doesn't necessarily mean awesomeness.... When a collection of intruments, voices, lyrics, and energy come together like this... it's simply great... and I am truly sorry you can't see it...

  • @monoXcide01 then strum it....dude I try and try... Everyday man....just take, the electric banjo / cant think....he's awesome, but I suppose, when ya play the same song everyday, you'll get the pattern, then the speed will come, and then the timing of everyone together happens....it is an AWESOME thing!!!!

  • @monoXcide01 Ok, then you get on that stage and strum, change chords, sing perfectly, hit a bass drum with one foot and a tambourine with the other.

  • @monoXcide01 well...try cranking it up until your ears pound, dance around and stomp like an lunatic, and really listen to the words... I mean, come on: "stars hide your fires / these here are my desires / and I won't give them up to you this time around / and so I'll be found / with my stake stuck in this ground / marking the territory of this newly imapassioned soul!"

Come on man, if you're not inspired by that you should just go back to bieber

  • @monoXcide01 You're right. You just changed my opinion of this band.

  • @monoXcide01 Smells like teen spirit - 4 chords and just strumming...and that song defined a generation. Simplicity's never bad, no matter what genre you're talking about. Kind of pity you not feeling the amazing energy from the stage and crowd :/

  • goose bumps everywhereee

  • Jeez! That was insane!

  • God asked them to play him a song, and he was pleased

  • it is amazing that these guys can get a crowd that fired up without using any electric guitar riffs, double bass pedals, or a fancy light show.

  • Awesome!

  • Why isnt there more viewing for this video?

  • They just take my breath away. So much talent.

  • Long live mumford&sons :D

  • the way the banjo player plays his banjo makes you wish you were that banjo.

  • when they jump i get chillzz

  • @chalsyalls glad i'm not the only one!

  • I'd be dancing my ass off at this concert.

  • this is one of britains best bands the energy these guys produce is amazing

  • 2:25 YEEAAAH XD that made me smile and giggle

  • One of the best parts of Glastonbury!!! Mumfords forever!!!:)

  • I feel exhausted just watching them fecking amazing

  • HOW CAN SOMEONE DISLIKE THIS.

  • @Dimples1309

becuse they like lady gaga , and justin beiber...

  • @exxo150 in that case 12 people need a slap

  • Perfect band live :'D

  • signature moves-

Winston has his sexy dance move as he's playing the banjo.

Ben has his headbanging at the piano... and of course his running around the stage.

Ted has his shaking his head at the base.

I am yet to find a move that Marcus regularly does... but I will... xD

  • ben just rocks out like a prooo....i have one question for all of you. get in my pants?...lol jk its not a question its a command :¬I

  • these guys are just so quirky. its awesome! they just have a fucking blast on stage

  • the only band that gives me shivers. so much love

  • They're having to much fun on stage, I want to join :)

  • Castlecomer are the new Mumford and Sons.

Search "the cave castlecomer" and see for yourself, their cover is beyond amazing.

I wish Marcus and his Sons could hear them for themselves!!

  • @bongolese87 No. No one can be 'the new mumford and sons'. They are too amazing to be replaces

  • @awsinger1 That is true. They are irreplaceable.

But if this band can write a song like Mumford can, they could be truly great.

Search 'the cave castlecomer'. Have a listen.

  • I know the names but i don't know who is who....can someone tell me?

  • So not amused. Laura marling gets to go on pyramid yet Mumford & Sons dont!!

  • foot stompin good time

  • One reason why I love this band so much? I never like watching live performances of my favorite bands because [in my opinion] they don't sound as good as they do on the C.D. But with Mumford & Sons I actually PREFER to watch them live. Not only do they sound amazing, I love the energy and passion they put into the performances. I can't help but adore them. <3

  • @squeeeeeeeeeeeeee I also feel this way about the Arctic Monkeys.

  • GOOSEBUMPS!

  • the main reason I can't stop watching this video is because of how evident it is they love their music. their joy is contagious

  • I want to go to glastonbury purely to see these guys.

  • NEVER seen Rihanna sweat at a concert.. just sayin'

  • I love the way the crowd shout 'stars', 'sooo' and 'soul'......makes it sound class!
