mine just reached 222,000 miles and it still runs like new, only had to replace fuel pump and water resivour :)

Hard to believe these cars are now a 20 year old design. Love my 325is, Not only does it still look new, still runs like new or even better, compression still 200 PSI minimum across all 6 on my M50, 233,XXX miles right now, And I think its just now getting broken in :D This car feels like it belongs on a new car lot. Videos of my E36 are on my channel.

I’m happy with my 94 325i, but the only performance mods are sport suspension and the Signature Motoring performance intake for about $150. Signature Motoring kit adds around 9HP on the dyno, great sound, and the best performance upgrade for the money. See my channel videos!

-Adds 9-11 HP

-Never replace filter again (uses K&N filter)

-GREAT SOUND

-Installs in maybe 30-45 min. K&N filter lasts a lifetime.

I'm thinking maybe performance exhaust, but eh.

Could some one please answer my question? Why did the 1980's Evolution Version of the 3 Series before the E-36 have a more "Plush" Interior--ex. Padded door interiors thicker Carpet and Upolstry and softer less shinney better textured plastics?! I own a 1994 325i and in some ways it feels like a "Snap Tit" Kiddy Model--down to the removable plastic body trim where you can literally remove and replace by pulling and popping out pieces...Nice looking car and drives well, just curious?

Wow, what a dated video..."BMW West Germany", LOL...love the design, I had an E30 and remember the day my sister upgraded her E30 to a wine red E36...I was jealous as hell, it looked like a spaceship, LOL. Beautiful car!!!

Non me ne vogliano i detrattori della migliore produzione italiana, ma bisogna riconoscere che la "Bmw Serie 3" (E36) è stata una grande automobile. Grande nello stile, nella meccanica e nell'immagine. Nel 1990, anno di presentazione, poche autovetture della concorrenza potevano offrire la tecnologia di questa berlina tedesca. Credo che gli unici errori commessi dalla Casa di "Monaco" siano legati a una scarsa dotazione di accessori di serie e a un'abitabilità posteriore non eccezionale.

Tolles Video...leider auf englisch und der Wagen ist äusserlich die 08/15 Ausstattung so vonwegen kein M-Paket, Radkappen und gelbe Blinkleuchten. Ich hab irgendwo auf ner alten Videocassette noch den Werbespot von damals als der Wagen neu auf dem Markt war. Wenn ich den mal wieder sehe schau ich mal das ich den irgendwie digitalisieren kann.

Aber schon lustig zu sehen was damals als gut galt und heute total schlecht ist vonwegen Sicherheit hehe: BMW E36 glaube 1 Stern im NCAP-Test

Does anyone know why some steering wheels had the color BMW emblem and others just had a black emblem stamped into the plastic. Was this actually an option.

@salvo155 I have a 1994 325i with 135,000 miles. I love mine to, I love the sharper lines and boxy yet more aerodynamic shape than previous generation 3 series, just wish it was a little bit more plush like the 1980,s 3 series, ex: thicker carpeting, cloth material an the door panels instead of plastic etc. I guess I can't complain, the powertrain really has been matainence free.

Performance E36ers can start with a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. It can add up to 11HP for only about $150 and installs in 30-45 minutes - really a must for every E36 owner. It also makes the car HOWL at high end but sounds normal at everyday driving. See my videos!

no wonder it was and still is a benchmark, nothing in 1992 could compete with this wow...nice to see the e36 in brand new condition....my poor girl has seen her best days even tho i keep her in the best shape i can, one gripe tho WTF is with the interior quality? wow they dropped the ball on this series, my head liner i had to replace the door panels come loose, the rear side panels warp and the vinyl comes lose, ugh a shame in my opinion the E34 is the best bmw ever made perfection.
