I do tons of loans for people that own businesses. i talk to about 350 a month of which 100 of them are self employed. regardless to how much they make none of them show very much income at all. i have a client that earns over 1.5mil a year that shows 65k on his taxes in personal income. that is all he is taxed on. even if joe the plumber was going to buy a business that makes 250k a year, which is a joke, he would not show a 5th of it on his taxes.

McCain's health plan sucks! Blue Cross will cost $13,000 and he only gives you a $5,000 tax credit. I will then owe $8,000 or almost $700 a month! It doesn't cover pre-existing. Right now I pay $92.00 a month for Blue Cross! Obama will cut the premiums.

I am lender. I do tons of loans for people that own businesses. i talk to about 350 a month of which 100 of them are self employed. regardless to how much they make none of them show very much income at all. i have a client that earns over 1.5mil a year that shows 65k on his taxes in personal income. that is all he is taxed on. even if joe the plumber was going to buy a business that makes 250k a year, which is a joke, he would not show a 5th of it on his taxes.

Obama's plan is peanuts compared to the real redistribution going on right now. How? The bailouts have privatise gains and socialised losses to the tune of 2 trillion dollars!!!

blue, I'm not a huge fan of the bailout(s) but it had to be done. That money is not going directly to CEO's and the rich, it's securing yours and my mortgages, savings, 401k's, etc.
I didn't agree with it, but had they not done anything, half of America would have lost in astronomical proportions!
AIG? You don't bail them out, half or more of the public wouldn't have their health plans and 401k's.

Businesses making over $150k, $200k, or $250k, insert latest figure here, get taxed 25-39% MORE per yr. Higher payroll taxes by the same %, FICA and SS go up as well. So Joe Biz raises his prices accordingly, or lays off, moves over seas, etc.
So tell me how far does that $1000 go when you have to pay $2500-$5000 MORE per year on daily essentials? Think about it folks!
