I saw him live yesterday in support (rhythm guitar) for Marty Friedman.

His technique is insane.

@Usercool So what is this guy doing playing rhythm guitar for marty?? In my opinion, he surpasses friedman in many areas.., maybe not in the theory, and exotic influences, but he is damn good... although, super shredder or not, i think it would be cool to play at all with marty.

@ShredIsNotDead1986 Maybe because it's Marty's tour & he's one of the few people Marty feels comfortable playing with?

I read an interview with Marty once and he said how difficult it was to find a good rhythm guitarist because they had to be in tune with his style of playing, which is probably why he chose Ohmura.

@blapblapblapblap Yes, he "shredded" lol. Just extremely near-perfected economy of motion. He doesn't waste motion or move unnecessarily.

very speciale left hand position on 1:40 all is hand down, look like before even barely move is finger, going more nervous and speed but listen little sound of sliding. But i'm going to practise this looks cool thanks Takayoshi:)
