I can't agree, I simply can not agree, Megadeth was consistant with there sound as well as there talent, they continously raised the bar on there music and always seemed to impress me with inovation, without ever changing genre, I can't say the same about Metallica, I went and bought Death Magnetic, despite all the publicity, and it was a mediocre album, then went and bought United Abombinations and found it was much, much better...even without the spear-headed campaign of ads.

Metallica had a shit period of music they straight out sucked to me but Megadeth being drug abused always get the thunder even on the album Risk . Metallica is easy to play on guitar its doesnt suprise me when people do covers.if you play guitar metallica's music is fuckin easy even like 87% of solos Megadeth is fuckin hard to play Riffs and Solos .

not even dude i could learn a metallica song by listening to it (EVEN) the solos. beside all the solos are the same i started playing guitar when i was 10 now im 14 and to me metallica's music is just boring the fuckin riffs are cool, but just boring and the same. On the other hand megadeth's songs are alot more intermediate and more difficult i aint ever seen metallica pull of arpeggios .why because .dont get me wrong Kirks good but his solos are shit .and his riffs are easy.

i disagree...based on this...metallica are better stage performers. they put on a better show. metallica's music drives so fuckin hard live. the riffs are spot on. some of the guitar solos might be sloppy on occasion and the vocals might be inconsistant from show to show...but that's because the guys are running all over the stage and using every ounce of energy. megadeth on the other hand...those guys tend to just stand there. don't put on much of a show for the people
