no offense to you, but i hate most of the people who play soldiers. you look like you're good at it, but most of the time the people who play as soldier suck ass, and they get really lucky crits or kill you when you have low health.

A tip for all soldiers, open up the console in tf2 and type in +reload. It automatically reloads for you after you shoot off a rocket, but you can shoot continiously. When you want to play antoher class type -reload in the console.

I would say practice, like everyone else says, but TF2 is actually my first PC FPS. A quick explanation is you have to learn to predict where they will be at when you fire your rocket. And for how to launch them you need to land a rocket directly under them.
