Ron Paul warned for years about the housing bubbles and the danger the economy was in and people never took him seriously. Freddie got a bargain for Newts knowledge of history. $1.9 million for 8 years. If I had been advising him, I would have told him he were worth twice that much, especially after he warned them about the bubble they were creating. His warning sadly fell on deaf ears. In fact no one there seems to have been listening to him because none of them can remember the warning.
