@imagine84 thanks for sharing this info about your hernia. I was wondering if you could tell your symptoms that you had to indicate that a hernia was present. i think i have one too and  i will be seeing a doc soon.

My friends say I'm crazy but I didnt ask. the doctor said it was just a small deposit of fat that caused the hernia. I do believe that they put the mesh in because I researched it some more & the default choice is the mesh. depends how severe the hernia is. They didnt give me a choice. It did hurt horribly. Walking again for the 1st few days cause the most pain, but if you talk to your doctor about pain management they can put orders in for meds & hopefully you wont have to endure too much pain.

HI there, I have a scar issue from removing a mole and I stumbled on this video. For my scar I tried BioOil, Johnson VituminE and NewSkinSilicone and they ALL did NOT work for me. Orginally wanted to use MEDERA but unfortunately is not sold in my Country.

ALSO there is a video of someone that did a FTM (female to male) sugery and used a cream called HIRUDOID. Search FTM and check out that video. SO I have to ebay MEDERMA or HIRUDOID but I dont know which one to try out? Just trying to help! kmp

hi i was just wondering what type of hernia did you have ?? I have hernia above my belly botton as well but it dont bother me . Do your clothes look better on you since you got it repaired or is it the same ? txs

I think my Dr. said it's called inguinal hernia cause its in the abdomin wall but in men some say it would be in the groin area in common cases. To me my shirts look better on me, cause I dont see the pudge no more underneath the shirts. And because I lost my intrest in food while in recovery I dropped a good 10lbs.

No I was too busy (litterally) balled up crying in pain to take any pics. When I did take picture I always made sure I hid it with my arm of jacket somehow becaue it looked so groce to me. Mine was the size of something like a silver dollar or a mint ball. It was jut a small pocket of fat tissue. Mine didnt bother me but after 3 yrs it got really painfull. Whatever the surgeon say I do wish you luck in your process.

Did they put you the mesh? did u have a choice to do it laproscopic? did it hurt after the surgery?
