I was thinking about doing the SAME exact build except just the 120 ssd, a fanless 6850, and the seasonic fanless 460 psu. Same cpu, ram, mb... Also just throwing on just a heatsink for the cpu. If I have both noctua fans intaking air at full or medium speed, do you think that would be good enough?
@nintendonick I don't know if a fanless cpu heatsink would be all that great - my temps with the Arctic Cooling unit (with the fan on low) hasn't been great - ie: similar to the stock cooler. I just picked up a Scythe Shuriken low profile unit and I'm going to give that a go and see how well it works.......
44:05 They prob chose those ports because hdmi is the same thing as dvi just with sound capability. I am assuming you monitor has no speakers (I did not watch it all) so there is no need for hdmi. I would rather have a display port instead of hdmi now.
