I did a report on Dali a long time ago and from what I read I think he did love Lorca but at first he was young and impressionable, hence the moving to Paris. In this scene Salvador Dali and Federico try to consummate their

relationship but was ended by Dali who said it hurt too much. Despite

trying to pass it off that Federico was the one who was madly in love

with and tried to screw him it seems that there actually was a

deep mutual relationship between the two. The movie is great with

intense scenes played by Robert portraying Dali's madness.

The history of Dali is very interesting he was a brilliant artist and quite a character.

I wish everyone would stop dissing rob! he's still a great actor but my goodness....he's a YOUNG ACTOR!!! People just can't wake and be Oscar worthy. give him some years. Ok like other I first watch the movie because Robert Pattinson was in it. But at the end i didnt care much about him.

I watch the movie twice just to look at Javier(playing Federico Lorca) what a great actor, i enjoy his performance and Matthew McNulty also. I hope that Javier gets more work.
