@slash631 Merci beaucoup pour ce commentaire ;) Effectivement, j'ai toujours pensé que le vrai défi n'est pas de jouer vite mais de placer les bonnes notes au bon endroit. Hey Man! i got to ask you about the JVM if you don't mind. I bought the JCM 2000 TSL 602 in mint shape used from Guitar Center, My question is how would you rate this to the TSL as far as the clean and the Gains. also how is the effects loop using delays chorus and will a noise gate calm the noise in the loop? There is no Music Store any where close to try the JVM out so i have to Buy not knowing, I'll be very thankful for any help. Love your style and your a great player. Thanks very much
Nice bro. Were you recording that through the SM-57, or were you going direct through that interface on top of the amp? It didn't sound like a mic'd tone to me, it was so nice. If you got that through a mic, hat's off to you bro. Did you add the syrupy FX and production after the track was printed? No matter...really nice playing and super great sound. Excellent mix too. Thanks for posting!
@Sweeper5 Hi ! Thanks ! Yes, I recorded the lead section through the SM-57 ;) That interface on the top of my amp is a Line 6 UX2. It's a kind of external sound card which connected to the computer. The SM-57 is plugged into the analog input of the UX-2. I added a little bit of reverb with the line 6 software and that's all.
@RGplayer01 Oh yes, I know what a UX2 is. Made for a really nice professional mix. I've been listening to a few of your other posts. You one helluva player. The Vinnie Moore thing rocked to high heaven. Really good man, and I'm not blowing smoke up your @ss. Nice command of the instrument, and a very clean player. Truly a joy to the ears. What did you use to get this sound onto your video? I know the audio was not recorded with a camcorder mic.
Nice playing man. Very clean. Jvms sound really good when you dial them in right. I have one of these guitars on layaway. It plays, looks, and feels so nice.
@fumblerer Thank you ;) Well it's hard to tell, it is probably a mix of many guitarists such as Joe Satriani, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, Steve Vai... I've been listening to these guitarists for many years and they obviously inspired me ;)
hey, as everyone else has said, simply awesome tone and playing. I just got the 210 jvm can you remember or recommend the settings on your amp for this sound?
Well, the sound of the Les Paul does its bit here. I don't remember exactly the settings on the amp but you could try this : OD1 channel, gain:6 , treble:4, middle:6, bass:6, presence:0 and resonnance:3 or 4.
@RGplayer01 Nice improvisation! Can you tell me which part you're using dorian? I'm assuming you're playing in the key of A so there would be a major 6 (F#) in the scale. Where are you using that? Thanks a lot! You play really nice!
Just wondering what channel and mode you used on this because this is somewhat in the neighborhood of my usual lead sound and I'd like to start there when I find a store that has one in stock and change parameters to see what else it does. I don't know if they were all sold out at Christmas time or what, but the big chains don't have JVMs on the floor or in the back!
Are you getting that from the crunch channel? OD1? What mode? Thanks!
I used the crunch channel (red mode) and the OD1 channel (green mode) on this. I don't remember exactly how I set the EQ of each mode... The JVM is a great amp, really. There are 4 channels and 3 modes per channel, so 12 different sounds in one amp ! It is strange that the big chains don't have any JVMs in stock. A lot of guitar shops have a JVM (head or combo) here in France...
Your Marshall is sick.. are you using a pedal or the overdrive channel? I don't think that's a stomp box LOL... Marshalls have the that real rich overdrive channels. I don't care for overdrive channels in Fender amps. They sound to harsh. I love my twin though. Keep rockin.
@4937645 Hey, yes that JVM is awesome. I didn't use any distortion pedal on this. Only the Crunch channel (red mode) and the OD1 channel(green mode) on the JVM. Keep on rockin' !
@WayMoreGuitar Yes I ran the delay through the FX loop and I have not had any problems yet. But I heard that some people have troubles with the FX loop...
@RGplayer01 Thanx, very beutiful guitar! I'm about to buy a Les Paul Traditional... not yet decided between the desert burst and the iced tea! You're iced tea it's simply awesome!
Hey dude, nice playing and stuff!!I own the 410C like you and i have a problem.I'm playing along with my boss ME-50 in the loop but when the loop fx is on the quality of sound gets crappy. When i turn off the loop fx and play just w/ guitar and amp the sound is perfect. All i need is some delay!Did you notice any change in sound when with your delay the fx loop is on or off?Sorry for my English, greetings fro Greece!

I'm selling a few amps, I'm for sure gonna try a 2nd hand JVM after a sell those amps.. Very nice playing, I can tell your a fan of Satriani :) I like the pinched notes...
