But at least I would've made sure I was dumping the love of my life for a GOOD Catholic boy, which Vic sure as hell didn't turn out to be.

She always downplayed Pier's relationship and feelings for Jimmy Dean, but that doesn't surprise me. She did however acknowledge that Pier was deeply hurt by Jimmy's death and may very well have blamed herself.
