I use the galaxy S vibrant, I was thinking of getting the Mugen Power 3200mAh one simply because the backing on it is uniform. I know with the stock battery if i watch alot of youtube on 3G i can destroy my battery within an hour and a half.. My job has alot of down time.. actually the entire job is downtime..
@GoldenChild21st the thickness of the extended battery is accommodated by the replacement phone cover which ships with the battery. If your question relates to the orientation of the battery (ie, which way in does it go?) just make sure the battery terminals (the shiny gold parts) align with the connections on the handset. If you're unsure, just watch the video again... it's all there for you to see.
@xxnissansilviaxx Unfortunately, that's not possible with current battery technology. There are alternative batteries for the Samsung Galaxy S available which don't require a replacement back... but they hold far less charge (as you would expect).
@xxnissansilviaxx The battery for you is made by Andida, and holds 1850mAh of charge... that's an extra 350mAh over the stock battery, and should cost you < $10. I'll message you with a purchase link for it. :)
I've got the same battery on my Galaxy S. It's brilliant. My only issue has been that with the increased size of the phone it no longer fits my car mount/charger setup - still yet to solve that one.
@seanslater Good point Sean- I'm sure there are numerous mounting devices for which this is a problem. They mostly appear to be form-fitting to the stock profile and orignal battery cover design. I have seen adjustable phone mounts though, which can be ratcheted in and out to suit the size and shape of a range of devices. Maybe one of those could provide the solution?
just got mine today, best thing ive done to my phone, battery lasts sooooo long. but it takes longer to charge (which isnt really a problem to me)

I think I'll probably get it but use it for times that I really need the battery so that I won't always have a much thicker phone

@kbg12ila Sounds like a good strategy! The cheapest place I could find to buy one is linked in the video description. :)
