All these comments saying how Letterman is an "idiot", he "sucks" and that he is "the type of spectator that screws up things" are complete rubbish. It is Jason Randal's responsibility as a magician to control his spectators. And I wouldn't be surprised if these comments were being made by other magicians who also find it difficult to control their spectators. Search for "David Roth Letterman" and you will see how a true master successfully controls the same chat show host

Letterman is just simple spectator. If magician can't work with it - he is not really good at his job.

Look at other magicians - Carney, Ammar, etc. Same circumstances, different rezult.

Why would Dave be such a damn douche?? Isn't the point of bringing magicians to your show to let them work their magic and impress the crowd? Dave did everything he could to take control of the trick, make jason look like an amateur, and ruin the trick for everyone. He's so fucking rude.

i know how its done, i had to watch this a few times but i worked it out, ok the most important part of the trick is the sleeve that he puts the card into, ok first of all he never put the 5 of diamonds into the sleeve, he put the signed card into the sleeve, and the 5 of diamonds was just a pattern on the sleeve itself to make you believe it, thats a trick sleeve that just has a special effect! watch the clip again carefuly and you will see

The thing about this is that it LOOKS very "technology based" to an untrained eye. But in reality, this entire illusion is made up of sleight of hand technique. It just isn't used in a "showoff" sort of way.

Naturally, I will not reveal the secret. People seem to have this strange idea that the secret is going to be something really cool, and when it isn't (it never is; it's always something disappointingly simple), the secret loses its luster, and the magic does too.

Please don't say, "I don't care if the secret is dumb," because if you truly didn't care, you wouldn't ask for it.
