I respect Donna Dewberrys artistic talent but as an experienced Illustrator and graphic designer i do not recommend buying her products any acrylic paint will do the job all that is required is a good set of brushes you dont need mediums or strange squirty bottles, perfect your talent people and focus on your star player (you)

There is a MAJOR difference between being an artist, and slapping paint on a canvas like a hairless chimp with tourettes. From what I've seen of her......and I use this term loosely....."art" she doesn't do it because she feels compelled to, she does it to make pretty things and pass time in her blase existence.

Let me add to that - art is simply expression. It doesn't have to be something "beautiful". It simply conveys a message using object, color, shape or texture.

By the way - "manga" or cartoons are not considered "art" by mature professional's, either. But it is the "art" of the young (or young at heart).

art is an expression of emotion. It requires a lot of skill and talent. This however requires no skill or talent. anime, depending on which category, can be very artistic. My comment is not snobbish, and donna dewberry is not "very much an artist" if the only thing she is capable of doing are flowers by using a cheap technique.

I've seen far better artist who get no kind of recognition, why? Because they don't sell a cheap product that makes people think they can be a great artist.

but some of us desire only to make designs on furnitishings...I srudy and love 15th century art where evereything was detailed so my desire to learn quick techniquess is valid aret. I also paint large paintings but I take great please in designing small intriquet pieces. art is fro whom ever enjoys the form.
