I respect Donna Dewberrys artistic talent but as an experienced Illustrator and graphic designer i do not recommend buying her products any acrylic paint will do the job all that is required is a good set of brushes you dont need mediums or strange squirty bottles, perfect your talent people and focus on your star player (you)
Both Donna Dewberry (One Stroke Painting) and the manufacture of her paints (Plaid Online) have websites with links to where you can purchase Donna's products outside the US. Donna's website has links for Canada, the UK, and Italy. The Plaid website has worldwide links in their store locator. So good luck finding what you need in your area!
ive watched donna religiuosly since she started on qvc .thats how i also fell in love with thomas kincades art wish i could go to hsn with my art wow id have fun no one ever sees my art much id love to change that
@JudiG - A little late in responding, but I feel the burning need to respond.
There is a MAJOR difference between being an artist, and slapping paint on a canvas like a hairless chimp with tourettes. From what I've seen of her......and I use this term loosely....."art" she doesn't do it because she feels compelled to, she does it to make pretty things and pass time in her blase existence.
@GundamDirgeWOW!An effite snob!Who are you to criticize this lovely woman who is willing to share all she knows about painting? She has touched the lives of millions who would never have picked up a paint brush had they not been encouraged by her. Ever hear that beauty is in the eye of the beholder?I'd take Dewberry over Dali any day. Do us all a favor:go sit in a corner & ponder your sad little life.It always helps to confront your own character flaws before you question the motives of others.
Sorry, I don't jive well with passionless "artists", this woman has an air of pretentiousness I just can't stand and I would rather sit and be amazed by the "happy accidents" of Bob Ross and his Holy Fro of Power any day of the week.
Let me add to that - art is simply expression. It doesn't have to be something "beautiful". It simply conveys a message using object, color, shape or texture.
By the way - "manga" or cartoons are not considered "art" by mature professional's, either. But it is the "art" of the young (or young at heart).
art is an expression of emotion. It requires a lot of skill and talent. This however requires no skill or talent. anime, depending on which category, can be very artistic. My comment is not snobbish, and donna dewberry is not "very much an artist" if the only thing she is capable of doing are flowers by using a cheap technique.
I've seen far better artist who get no kind of recognition, why? Because they don't sell a cheap product that makes people think they can be a great artist.
but some of us desire only to make designs on furnitishings...I srudy and love 15th century art where evereything was detailed so my desire to learn quick techniquess is valid aret. I also paint large paintings but I take great please in designing small intriquet pieces. art is fro whom ever enjoys the form.
It's funny cause I get 3 bottles for $1 at my arts & craft store.

donna dewberry isn't an artist. she's used a very simple and cheap techinique.
she should make REAL painting products.

"Art" is the expression of beauty using any medium, devicor technique.
Your comment is very snobbish and exclusionist.
Donna Dewberry is very much an artist. There are artists of all types.
Art doesn't have to be complex and secretive and it's not reserved for a chosen few.
