As it is with some of the work going into this story wise, voice acting, the game though I worry if it's really going to bring that extra bit of awsome flare to it, the game IS quite playable and presentation is solid.

I'm going to take the chance, my copy is reserved. Quite frankly if we're going to get more mech games here in the USA and around the world, we need to do what we can to support the style of gaming.

Show the developers we have mech pilots out here. Don't buy crap though. lol

this game is going to be a BIG flop.

the reasons are numerous.

here are a few:

1. its ripping off gundam 00

2. its square enix. they do DS-WII games

3. they sucked at the last "war" game...(it was that 3rd person one...cant remember the name)

4. The storyline is so typical.

5. graphics dont look that great.

@TG127 Normaly I try not to be mean to the youngins like that but true enough. Hahaha. The only good Gundam series is the main UC timeline, the one that started it all. Wing gave us some cool looking machines, but an utter nonsence plot, along with SEED and 00 doing the same pretty much.

Some how they're implamenting the battle skills system from old games in some form, so I'm hoping to see what that's going to do. As the other guy said, I hope it's not going to suck.

@AlliedAirsoft I don't care if there ripping off Gundam 00 with there orbital elevators. The setting looks awesome. The last Front Mission I played was FM4 on PS2 and I thought it was good. I still wish they released FM5 on the stateside, cuz from what've heard and seen, it's really good, a lot better than FM4. I'm excited about this FM:Evolved, because up till now, all FM titles I've played have been strategic / turn-based gameplay, this new one is an FPS.

There are no new stories, only new ways of telling them. Gundam didn't invent orbital elevaters, the concept has been around for some time. yes the plot of this looks cliched and predictable, but who cares? there's gonna be giant robots blowing shit up.

Hmmmm, after a pretty long thought I have come to the conclusion that this game is more of a anime funzorz game then a deadserious shooter (or anything alike). The cutscenes looks pretty slick, though the ingame footage is nothing compared to it. A pity, because people always compare the 2. The mech-warriors looked like puppets to me. Not highly advanced war machines.

Story doesn't seem to be really interesting too, just another setting of another war in another time and area. Nothing new.
