To the two questions below: you have been under every inch of stone like ghosts under rocks. And to the other question, the album in it's entirety was about coping with the loss of their original drummer who was found dead, intoxicated, and under rocks near a creek. This song in my opinion has a lot to do with the death of him, trying to understand what happened in a very vague way, and choosing to move own afterall dying is fine. Very powerful song.
seeing these guys tomorrow! trying to bone up on the lyrics so i can sing on stage with them...it will happen. even if coppers have to drag me off stage.
this band brings back so many memories, i only remembered them today, i lost this album on itunes and completely forgot about them, i love the compilation of all the instruments and their voices.
This track is definitely their BEST !!! What comes out of their musik is the quality of the melody+percussion+voice of singer. That band is definitely one of my fav in the genre with others like ''Vampire Weekend'', ''MGMT'' and such !!!
It looks like a Fender Telecaster bass. They were first issued in 1968, and you can tell by the shape of the headstock. Though the body isn't your normal paint job, might be custom.
Saw them open up for Vampire Weekend and wasn't surpprised when they were much more musically satisfying. VW has great catchy songs, but RRR had full sound each and every song. Awesome and sad at the same time-the chics were selling the shirts after the show-the guys were probably loading the van. The good think is they wont be openers for much longer-pure talent!
man..i saw them play live. they were just insane. Wes Miles(vocalist) was like jumping on the bass drum. They just stole the show. The drummer was laying down some sick beats. Princeton was also playing with them.
I'm curious about the lyrics because they don't completely sounds like the lyric sites have them. Anything's possible but does anyone have a definitive set of lyrics... maybe released by the band?
