I think this MV is unique. Its not really just a Dance and Member shot MV. It sorta has a story behind it with the name of the song, since its about them reaching their goals and moving into a "New World".Also i found the beginning with the coffee and the doll thing pretty cool. My fave line is "I love you, a feeling like this". Mostly cuz it just sounds interesting.

so maybe somebody with knowledge of both cultures can verify...if I'm not mistaken, Jessica is wearing a cannabis leaf necklace (at least being an old school stoner, that's what it definitely looks like to me). Does is hold different cultural value in Korea? Or is that not what it is? Or does Jessica/their stylist not even know :P either way, thumbs up! haha

Marijuana and the culture associated with it is basically non-existent in China and Korea. There is absolutely no cultural value attached to it.

I bet Jessica knows what it is (she was born and raised in San Francisco, after all), but her stylist/concept designer probably doesn't. They probably thought it looked cool and American, so they made her wear it.

Maybe she secretly smokes pot? That would explain the "Sica effect" and her excessive sleepiness. =P

I forgot that Jessica was specifically from SF...it COULD explain things :P gotta admit, I'd love her even more if it was true she smoked haha! I have always found weed very conducive for my musical process; although it's probably not great for singers (unless she's just consuming edibles/brownies LOL). I'm seriously amazed that SM didn't do their homework though!

I think the concept designers just pulled random elements from American culture and mixed them together (hence Tiffany's suburban home and the graffiti on the underpass). Parts of American culture are considered "cool" in Korea for some reason.

I can totally imagine Jessica getting blazed, lol.
