  • Dumbest video ever.

  • dudes can hack mine, theres nowt on it :D

  • Like mine, your ratings numbers are hacked. Any advice about this? Thanks for raising awareness and the good info.

  • was it me or did this video get removed and reinstalled? I have it on my favorites to help others

  • Not re-uploaded. Someone flagged it to death... falsely. Probably one or more of the hackers it's intended to help people protect themselves against. I requested a review of the video by YouTube and they restored the video, as there is nothing in it that even remotely violates terms of service. YT really needs to pay more attention to what they remove when people flag videos to prevent this from happening.

  • What can I do if my YT account is already hacked and been suspended already?

  • Unfortunately, in most cases all you can do is open a new account and start over. Occasionally people do get lucky after posting their situation in the community help forums. You might try that.

  • Thanks for the reply. Do you mean Liz, the google employee will help me? I mean if I post there, will you have my "back"?

  • I'd hope she'd help you. It mostly depends on whether she's logged in and sees your post, or if one of the top contributors can flag it for her or another YouTube staff member to check. Not sure what you mean about having your back, though. I help where I can in the forums, but I have no authority there. PM the link of your post there to me, though, and I'll keep an eye on it.

  • I really appreciate the quick fast response. Let me PM because I don't want to be spamming your informational video with my personal request. It looks really selfish

  • wonderful. Send info on them to security at Youtube com so they can deal with the issue.

  • Mine got hacked. I changed to a very long, random password, that I myself need to put on Notepad ti remember it.. Next day, it was hacked again. I suspect the hacker is using some special software

  • Yeah. Having randomized passwords won't do the trick if someone's using a cookie catcher or cross-site scripting on you, or if you accidentally leave your account logged in and someone else then accesses it. Try some of the software aps and plugins I've recommended. They DO help prevent a lot of this.

  • Uggh. the hacker read this already... I dont go anywhere, I only put the password on my laptop and nobody knows how to use this laptop

  • It still doesn't make you immune. Cookie catchers basically steal your login cookies when you visit sites with them. Keyloggers are spyware that monitor your keyboard input. Whether you're the only one with the password to your computer or not makes no difference if you're connected to the internet, which is why it's important to take a proactive, preventative approach.

  • that's awesome, this way no one will be able to guess that my password is franz$£kafka92

  • Lol. Interesting pw.

  • Very informative. I hope this gets to those new users and existing ones that are careless.

Favorited so others will see it.

Those that use linux are safer than windows users, most malware is targeted towards microsoft internet explorer and windows itself.

  • I agree re: linux. However, with the current hacking prob on YT, something needed to be posted to help ppl avoid it. Windoze is what most ppl use, making them more vulnerable.

  • Thanks!

  • You're welcome... and thanks for stopping by!

  • you should send this to all your friends ?

  • "Duke Blues the Amazing Dancing Chihuahua" gives this video a 5/5 "Paw Stamp of Approval" Rating!

  • Lol! Thanks!
