However the reason for that is not because of immigrants, lazy people etc. its because of a huge budget going towards the military industrial complex which is used to invade and opress other countries so they are forced to adopt our form of capitalism and multi-national corporations that own all the politicians can exploit their recources.

I think Adam hit the nail on the head. Too many people are dependent on the government to solve their problems. The welfare system only perpetuates poverty - it does nothing to inspire people to make their own living. Citizens should also have the right to keep more of what they earn.
@TheIdleMan Capitalism perpetrates poverty. Maybe people would be more motivated if workplaces wernt structured like dictatorships. The low end workers dont have any creative say in their job and have no reason to be fulfilled as a human being, therefore have no reason to be motivated. Only the few top guys make real decisions, then pass orders down. They make by far the most money and dont do any actual work. There really is no reason for the top guys to exist.
@Billcot1 While Welfare is needed in certain situations it is distrubuted FAR to easily. If you think Communism will work better just look at the MILLIONS of people who were forcibly starved to death in China. Marxism breeds stagnation, Capitalism forces ingenuity. Niether is perfect, one atleast pushes progress.

Its not like people living off of welfare are driving in limosines to pick up their checks. They all live in the slums and struggle to provide for their familys even with welfare.

If they see that having another child will get them a few hunderd more dollars a month from mine and yours wallets they will opt for the one that does'nt involve working 8-10 hours a day, we need not encourage laziness and help them help themselves.
