His "masterpieces" only for guitar geeks who shredding his guitar for 24/7 and do not listen what this is all about. And for last 20 years Malmsteen didn't do smth interesting. I also play his stuff with my band (I'm a Lead guitarist)....I've just said that he didn't invent sweep picking technique.....sweeps were used already back in 70s(obviously not in the Yngwie-arpeggio-style)...

@iggypoprulez I know rite. I met malmsteen and we became friends. I personally think he is my closest friend i'll get to Hendrix and Ritchie Blackmore combined. We jammed on Smoke On the Water after this show and we decided to become friends. We went out for a sandwich and then i went to his house the next day to talk about Strats with him. He let me play his original 1954 Fender strat that he had. Great guitar and ill personally treasure it. he gave it to me so hehe i own a 54 after my Squier!
