This movie is pretty sad...I didn't know how to interpret the ending though since I been getting very different opinions from various people. Nontheless, I still like this movie for what it is. Even though, there are some confusing parts here and there. Also, I got to say that Elijah's Performance was incredible....I might be biased in this regard since I really like Elijah.~~~~

There's this theory, that Mike is really the kid who is getting abused, and that Bobby is a figment of his imagination. So it's really MIKE who doesn't want his mom to know, but he supresses all of his feelings into an image of a little boy being abused - namely, Bobby.

There are clues to this theory through the movie, like when Mike's mom says "take your LUNCH" instead of "LUNCHES".
