Zi8 has a audio problem go to Amazon. I returned my Zi8 and got a Sanyo 1010

I did the firmware it tries and hides the problem. But it's still there. It was not in the 1080p recording but was in the 720p. What the firmware does is tries to listen to the buzz and remove it. The mic still has a problem.

The firmware update works for some people but not everyone. I patched my Zi8 and still had the problem. I have one video on my channel if you want to hear it, just look for the netflix video.
